Thank you for putting this up Steve, Bob

I have taken the pledge on line at bombadier
-
just lucky, they did not have to do this...hopefully nobody screws this up...it won't take much...

The time has come for all of us , in concert with outfitters , hotels, dealerships, Bombardier, clubs, and private land owners, and FCMQ, to be proactive, and require everyone to ...Take The Pledge....with Bombardier ...as a trail pass requirement...mandatory sled stickers...no pledge sticker...no gas....spelled out plain and clear ...registration revocation and fines...sled seizure...signs at hotels and stops like Repo, etc. If we don't get proactive...we all know where this is going...and reactive isn't a place we want to be...the weather is already numbering our days...we can control everything but the weather..AND TRAIL ACCESS. Ride off trail in designated areas..or be gone. If we aren't going to be proactive and sit around complaining... we will not have much of a voice when the powers to be do sit down...and we will not like the conversation on that day. We all have a lot at stake here...this is our recreation...but for many it's their livelihood...we have 3300 members here alone...it's a good place to start...look how many stickers iceman was able to distribute playing around... we need to be on front of this now...before it's too late...and that day is coming if we do nothing...my 2 cents worth, happy trails, Bob.

If you are unable to operate an oven or stove, yes you could use the micro wave...full kitchen in each cabin...but no dish washer...utensils, pots pans...glass ware, coffee maker...etc...like I said with the grocery store, gas, and beer and wine 1/4 mile away, it's as good as it's going to get.
-
L'Ombre has full kitchens and the store is a quarter mile away with food/super market, drinks, and anything you need...very nice set up staying there ...gas too...as convenient as any thing any where...and very nice

I have met my fair share of vehicles on this bridge , always amazed at how small it is.
-
Really great and considerate review…. Lots of the details aren’t much of an issue in the warmer months…it will get better

Help wanted sign at Central in Parent...another casualty of free hand outs...not complicated there...not like they are working else where that doesn't exist....government pay to stay home...even in Parent...that is what I call far reaching...so people stay home and drink Budweiser all day...and the folks that ran their asses off as owners of the only social spot in town ...are closed...very very sad....at least there it is a few different factors....but closed with no help....WTF....it's a great opportunity for a family willing to work....but it seems right now...you better not count on help called employees

Good security system, very low on a thieves list

Alain I couldn’t agree with you more and I’ve known the whole family for 4 decades… it’s the family’s life work… I love that part of Quebec and that hospitality that make the whole experience so much better… the mom and pop establishment that makes you feel like family at the holidays -

Alain, super live update, things are looking much better than most expected...a quick note on Koubec's...many people overlook that there are rooms there ...and it's a great safe place to stay and leave for trips from...Helen is a great host and they have been around for as long or longer than anyone...and it definitely saves a little driving time...only draw back is no gas there but it's doable for sure...when everyone is booked ...don't forget them, many thanks , have a great season, Bob. -
Tough to live that down...very bad day at work...then somebody puts it on line....don't loan this guy your car
-
Last March we went off trail from Moose Valley to Kedgewick in the big storm single track over the mountain and got to Campleton at 10:30 pm… same conditions … good thing for GPS…wouldn’t trade the memories for anything
-
You simply can't worry about what could go wrong...you could find a 100 answers to that question...and never do anything...then you would be a politician...I'd rather be a sledder!!
-
Great info Mike… I never used this before… but then again … I never let the weather change my plans too much…I love the unknown adventures…. As long as there is snow on the ground

Chicken flavored broth… they are in an important strategic spot… they know it.., and they are getting the most out of it… for most it’s not possible to drive by without getting fuel… and most eat there too… they could certainly do better with the food…,I know they hear it all the time… and in years gone by.., it was considerably better… but that was 3 operators ago… it’s a nice stop and memorable… when it’s cold… it’s a nice stop

Laglacier good is good, Cabanon is much better, the inn on Lake Tureau is top shelve in St Michelle and there are a couple restaurants as well in St Michelle, Cabanon is about 20 minutes from you … 35 or so to St Michelle… when you ride 360 to matawin river shea marineau is a good lunch …dinner spot… about 80 miles… they are busy but the only game around… gas is across the street… Lake Repo is a very nice 100 mile ride… expensive gas… food Id fuel you won’t be dining but it will do after 100 miles

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Joyous sledding season to all
-
Koebecs to the south just above Jollitte rustic log cabin, food no gas but on main trail to la glacier and cabanon, quite a few places in St michelle just north of st Zenon...you shouldn't have any trouble finding a room
-
and they charge handsomely for spare keys...I never knew it came with the sled of your choice...not so expensive after all
-
Wow, I'm going home to try my keys on my 2 sleds to see if this works ... not a very good feeling if this is accurate...sled is basically never locked and this YouTube video is probably everywhere...if this is true...ski-doo has a very large issue on their plate and it isn't good.

I think he was elected mayor because of all the greasing and free drinks he handed out
