We kept showing up to places after the covid lock down and nobody was open or had limited kitchen help...Hotel and Cie had almost nothing, we had candy bars and beer from package store across the street after a 300 mile day, not very impressive, they should have told us they had the restaurant closed when we booked it, same thing happened at Hotel Francis in New Richmond but there were restaurants a mile away there, things are slowly getting back to normal.

So in court it appears the way it is written, if I'm just going to La Chapel for lunch and back and there is no other way I don't have to pay....so who ever said the original spirit of the Zec has been broken is 100 % correct....why have this public wilderness area with roads and trails throughout...if no one can use it....almost all recreational vacations require citizens to freely enter public , state, federal, or provential land...that ultimately is owned by the public and paid for by their tax dollars....the spirit of this has truly been broken when a very small group thinks they know best for the people.Soon they will control hours, speeds, where you can go, maybe outlaw 2 strokes, or off trail access, and on and on

confusion or not..we need to find a way to wake people up...seems like no matter what we do...there is always someone with zero respect ...that's a big deal being closed....land owners have all the power...over sledders, fisherman, hikers, hunters...it's not getting better...when ever you get to thank or do something for someone opening up their land to us...just do it!!

595 can be incredibly wild with drifting like no where else...we traveled it when it was closed last year...the folks at La Cashe were shocked to see us...only 3 sleds in 2 days...and it looked like they had a week in front of them...some drifts were 25 to 30 feet high...in hind sight ...we took a very big risk....first time ever I felt out of my comfort zone...if anything had happened...we may not of made it....when it is closed....you better think twice before thinking you have a lot of experience riding the bush

No I completely understand your question....and I too misunderstood what we were buying in Quebec...we are buying a trail pass...not a registration...so if you are not registered else where...you are operating unregistered....if you have insurance state side ...you can provide that and lower the cost of the trail pass....but they want you registered somewhere....they don't really care where you live...I have used registrations from Ma, NY, and NH over the years...depending on where I have been riding

I have never had anyone question my registration in New Hampshire...I have a boat that I use only in New Hampshire...so I also register it there and not in Mass. Seems like the right thing to do if I am using it there...you can always transfer it to a mass registration in the future.

The deal is that we are buying a trail pass in Quebec..and insurance...I think it's a legal issue...if anything happens ...and you are not actually registered somewhere...lawyers and law enforcement will be all over you...kind of like your car....I never ride in Mass...bought my sled in New Hampshire...no sales tax...and I register it there...to cover my ass.

yes communicators and music built in...very nice feature....early troubles with heated visors is a thing of the past...field of vision is very good...it's basically a heated helmet and built in neck protection is nice...a lot of people like the front opening of modular, it's convenient but mine kept icing up the latches and would not open on very cold days...like everything else...new technology costs money...and everyone today thinks every job is suppose to afford them everything that those with a lot of skill and sweat have...and walla...that also costs money... the light on the back is a great safety feature and is often visible when the tail lite isn't...unfortunately it looks like the future is becoming more expensive...or less affordable ...depending on how you want to view it....and this sport was pricy to begin with

And the oxygen helmet is a much better helmet....this may be a price point situation
