Maniwaki is great they had new snow. Roads and lots are thin or bare. What they will be like in two weeks is anyone’s guess. If you want some get up here. Chriswritge
Indeed phil...it's getting thin or literally bare in town. The sun is doing is job during the day. It was my last weekend leaving from home in maniwaki. Too much pavement. But hey!!!! when you hit the trail it's another world. Plenty of snow in the bush. Great weekend of riding in the upper gatineau and upper laurentians with sun wall to wall and cold mornings. Great trails.

Parking in Maniwaki Friday riding to Mekoos. We have been watching the weather and recent snow, riding should be ok. Lots of daylight and cool but not below 0 are the best part of March riding.
6-7 inches of compact snow since last night in maniwaki. 8 inches in baskatong area. Have a good trip.

Will do Friday Mekoos Saturday Relais 22 Sunday to Chibougamau Matagami Monday, gonna ride west side till Wednesday then head back.
No boycott here.
Where are you launching from phil? Looks like you guys are in for a nice run and the weather looks good with a cold snap coming plus we have received 2-3 dumps of heavy wet snow since the beginning of march in the upper gatineau and upper laurentians. Some good riding in store for this coming weekend.

Pourvoirie Lavérendrye posted on facebook this morning (march 14th) stating Le Domaine-Val d'Or has been groomed and they will groom every week.

Well...trails were excellent saturday. 13 then 322(eagle forest, zec brascoupé-Désert area) up to the classic restaurant then 63 to maniwaki. Lots of snow in the classic area. No big mileage but trails were in top shape. More snow expected this coming week. Btw march is march, getting in and out of town is a challenge so are road shoulders.
