Hi Groomer!
How late do you think the grooming would have gone on this year with the snow conditions there, if it wasn't for the shut down?
-
Thanks. Just wanted to make sure that it wasn't just a one day thing before we make alternate route.
-
Thanks Groomer.
Does that mean it is closed for logging?
-
Does anyone know why trail 386 is red indicating closed? Called the the Val-d'or and they got 6"" of snow out of the storm this morning. Also 63 is yellow heading from Mount Laurier? Have guys in Mount Laurier and they can't find any info out.
-
How many possible gas stop are there between Mount Laurie and Val d'or?
-
Thanks. Finally got a hold of them but they were booked up. We changed our plans.

I went through this same problem planning a trip i just got back from. (Got Back this past Sunday)
It's a very long drive from Connecticut, so i Wanted to book Four Points vs going further north, but Wasn't sure what to expect.
With rain and warms temps, It was just too 'iffy' trying to leave from Quebec city area, so I cancelled & went to La Malbaie instead.
Conditions up there were fantastic, and even with the rain this week, they have so much snow I suspect riding will hold out for at least another week or two.
This was my first trip to Quebec, so I'm no expert. But there was little-to-no snow on the ground around Quebec city.
So if they are saying the trail from Four Points is still open, it can't be by much.
I'd say you are better off starting off from somewhere further north. Just my two cents.
what kind of loops did you do from La Malbie?I went through this same problem planning a trip i just got back from. (Got Back this past Sunday)

600...if 63 had not been groomed since we were thru I feel sorry for that long pull on the bumps...The burned out area is an experience, strange but neet in a way, it will regrow...All the rides are an adventure...
Tried to PM you would not go thru...
How has the fuel & oil mileage been on the new sleds? Mine is 2 years old and ready to trade, I'm not in love with Doo and come from Polaris. The new 800 adventure really has my interest.
Thanks
Phil
Hi Phil. Looks like you and guys were on a few good trips this year. I can't believe you are thinking Polaris 2 stroke, I thought for sure you would be on the 1200 club for your next sled. If you do get the Adventure I think you will really like it. So far a like my Rush but I only have 400 crappy New York miles on it.
