Anyone with suggestions for a nice place to stay with direct trail access nearby Montreal? Maybe 30-45-60 minutes north/northwest of the Montreal airport. Cant seem to find anything. Found 1-2 spots, but unknown- Motel au P'tit sapin in Maribel and Hotel Lac Carling in Greenville sur-la-rouge???

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Auberge De La Montagne Coupee is about 90 minutes drive by auto north of Montreal. Check their web site to see more. www.montagnecoupee.com

Beware of this place as many tow vehicles have been lost at this place over the years. Go a half hour further and get to LaGlacier,Real Masse or LeCabanon you won't be sorry

Hotel Chasseur...ok place for an afternoon stop for snacks and drinks but not my fancy for over night stay. Pic from yesterday's ride.

Lac Carling definitely one of the top three but not a too snowmobile friendly place, bunch of tree huggers and snot noses.

My 2 cents

no rooms at chasseur in pine hill new owners . lac carling is exp. for nothing , ***** . TRAIL USED TO PASS ON GOLF COURSE. There are many places to stay sled friendly try a sled map of the area you want and there are lots on the back , next time order maps by phone or email . fcmq ,and they will send for free. TOURISM QUEBEC takes care of that.
