snowdogs Posted January 28, 2014 Report Share Posted January 28, 2014 We will be departing Gite Aventures Nord Expe Thursday morning, spending Thursday night at the Ravage (Lac Moreau), Friday night at the Fairmont Richlieu Charlevoix, Saturday night at Auberge Le Relais Haute Gorges. No real routes planned, going to do some off trail adventures but that's where we will be at night. Big azz group, too big for sure but so many people have heard our stories of trips past and wanted to join, it's hard to say no to people that have never ridden Quebec. No Hair Posted January 29, 2014 Report Share Posted January 29, 2014 You are so right we just helped a group from long island. they where coming through the park on 23 and the trail turns at the big rock well he didn't a slite concusion and a new rental from evasion. A nights sleep and a hand full of pills and off they went. Shane may have pics of "BROKEN" and his sled at the Delta. very tweaked front end was 5 inches to the left. we saw them leaving from 4 points so I guess they are still alive. newbies should ride to there ability and veterans should explain how easy it is to die out their. luck was with him this time use your head and not as a brake. snowdogs Posted February 3, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 3, 2014 Well, we got back yesterday in time for the pathetic super bowl. All went well and great fun. One minor sled mechanical issue that was taken care of by the awesome people at the Doo dealer in Clermont. We left the sled and they gave the rider a ride to the Fairmont, fixed the sled and delivered it to the Fairmont (no charge but a nice tip from the owner who is a stand up guy) Wow, the Fairmont is nice, the casino not so kind $$$$ for a group of 12 it was a great trip. Stupe did his usual awesomeness as trip planner and guide. Saw 3 sleds parked outside at the Fairmont around lunch time when we were dealing with the dead sled issue with QR stickers but unfortunately didn't see the riders.
