I called Mont St. Pierre and they got 1.5 to 2 feet of snow and lot's of wind so I'm thinking going east is not a good option for me and the wife tomorrow. Thanks, Vince drift.jpg drift1.jpg hi vince !!! before posting i pm ed the club in matane and the one in amqui ....using fb..... the club in matane said they are grooming from st damase ( west of matane ) to st paulin ( east ) tonight.. still waiting for a reply from the club in amqui ... i can t believe you won t see a few groomers on trails tomorrow... i ll groom my part of tq 5 early morning ..about 10 hrs run......im 12 miles east from amqui by the road...and maybe 25 miles by tq 5 !!! very hard to tell how much snow on ground....so windy !!! went to '' school bus '' this afternoon.....( pics )...3-4' high drifts if i can find more info ..i ll post before grooming tomorrow !!! light snow...still windy ..but not as bad as this afternoon...looks like storm is dying slowly.... btw....train was late by 7-8 hrs !!!.......- 17 c right now !!!! jean-guy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

groomer Posted February 25, 2015 Author Report Share Posted February 25, 2015 Did somebody run out of gas - or was it worse than that?? hi vt blu !!! hahhaha....i can see that you re an experienced rider !!! right ...those 2 guys on post 4311, one of them was out of gas !!! this is on long straight in ste marguerite!!! they had spent the night in campbellton and in the morning while riding in cross point ...they said......aaaaaaaaaaahhhh good enough to make it...i don t know where...so,one of them ran out of gas and the other one was super low !!! i explained 5-6x to get to first gas station in town...guy made about 400' and got lost ...second pic...look where trail is... i was grooming and waving at him ...go straight ...i stopped again ...to explain him AGAIN .... second pic..is where we met first time if memory still good !!! i talked with them 6-7 mins..time to explain and i even made a little draw on a piece of paper..... from what i saw while talking ...i guess they had '' 2 stroke smoke '' between the 2 ears !!!...hahhaha very confused and lost ....2 strangest sledders i ever talked with !!! just started snowing very lightly......- 12 c !!!!......on tq 5 later tonight !!! jean-guy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you don't know the place, you would not expect gas so someone telling you "go there" was NG right !!! in panic for sure.l......could nt stay in place...and talking very fast !!! between '' met here '' and 2 tourists ..there s about 500 ' max.... we met on top of hill !!! another funny one !!! 2 monday ago i think ....coming back from st fidele cb...owner of the house at '' school bus '''...he kaputtt his 4w trying to plow his driveway...snow too hard packed !!! so , i guess i m still a good person (coughing ...hahha )... he refused the access in the field in front of his house.....then we had found another place for a new trail '' landing '' on top of the field behind his house...and he still said no !!! ...but i stopped and helped him to put his 4 w back on track !!!! time to ' 'land '' on my couch ..grooming later tonight !! ps : no snow accumulations......- 20 c jean-guy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
