schooter
Planning for a first time trip to the eastern part of the Gaspie, so looking for recommendations for a place to stay close to the Perce Rock area and how far away fuel would be. There has been discussion that there is no fuel in Perce, but looks like there maybe fuel on 132 about 5 - 8 miles west. Thank you in advance Schooter
smclelan
I have heard lots of discussion about the no gas issue in Perce for some reason. No, there most winters is not gas available, however that should not be a reason not to stay at a motel there. Waking up and seeing the rock out the motel window at sunrise is a snowmobilers must do. Many of us have stayed the night in Mont Saint Pierre and never worry about no gas in the village. As in MSP there is gas available on both sides of Perce and machines today of lots of fuel range to gas up on one side, drive in and out of Perce, then on to the next gas stop. As for you staying in Perce, Roland's is a great spot with an awesome motel room view of the rock. PLAYHARD
GT Rider
Last season I filled up at MultiGAZ on the way to Perce and then went to Shell on the way out. PLAYHARD and actionjack

Trailblazer
If you want a good shot of the rock, from Table a Roland ride up the road to the road leading to the SQ station, ride up that road park st the end and walk up the hill, beautiful spot for some photography, highly recommend to get up early for the sunrise. actionjack, dooright, GT Rider and 3 others
