  1. Thank you! He & his immediate family members are the "salt of the earth". Thankfully Daniel's spirits are high despite what appears to be a long & difficult journey ahead. Praying the Doctors, both in Canada & the USA can provide him with what he needs to return to normalcy. P.S. Very jealous you reside in N.S. Peggy's Cove is a favorite : )

  2. Might just be able to pull that off. If not, I'd be happy to share the itinerary. It was a trip of a lifetime. The weather helped too. As for the ICEMAN stickers, I did think of that while we were there.

  3. Great pictures of Peggy's Cove! We are pretty blessed with the scenery that we have here, It's for sure a great province for biking. I've toured quite a few people around the province over the years and Peggy's Cove is always a standout. Interestingly enough, Covid has brought an absolute real estate frenzy to even the most rural areas here. A massive amount of people from out of the province have bought property - largely online and essentially sight unseen. It's pretty neat to talk to these people and get to see their reactions as they explore their new surroundings.

  4. Yes, the Donkeys are readily available to interact within Custer National Park, SD. They can be found on the "Wildlife Loop". 18-mile loop road of open grasslands and pine-speckled hills that much of the park's wildlife calls home. Visitors hand feed them carrots, & veggies daily. If you venture into Custer a must-do in addition to the Wildlife Loop is Needles Highway a 14-mile road consisting of some picturesque rock formations, called the Needle's Eye, so named for the opening created by wind, rain, freezing, and thawing.

  5. And this Daniel gent's a total badass-rockstar looks like. For sure offering up most positive prayers for positive outcomes. Thanks again for sharing, the ups and the downs, it's all real & appreciated. (And yes-yes-yes I have fallen under the Aruban spell, the same one Lucy's been a victim of for the past 21 years that I've been QR'ing)

  6. Do enjoy your time in Aruba. Heavy rains here at home. Severe flooding on the BRP, SMRP - people trapped in their cars. The top link below will explain the images with the moose. Daniel is a biker friend from Nova Scotia. His surgery is scheduled for September 20, 21 at North Shore University in Manhasset, NY. He is suffering from craniocervical instability (CCI). Prayers are needed. Every year for many past years Daniel would dedicate a percentage of profits from his business and travel on or about 9/11 delivering the funds to Firemen in Maine who in turn would see the donation was donated to a 9/11 fund. He is a proud Canadian with a huge heart. From the time I met him, I knew he was a solid individual. https://www.cabottrailbiker.com/product-page/personalized-cabot-trail-biker-moose?fbclid=IwAR10Rc1jd3OWVD56myW4zPIOErb4T3CQEYTfA1NB-Q9C7Ym9ZbOcbFQUp-w https://www.facebook.com/CabotTrailBiker

  9. Joe, great to hear from you. We hope you are well. The wolves were captured in a preserve in W Yellowstone Village, albeit we did see wolves & Grizz in YW Park but with a spotting scope we were given access too from complete strangers. A very nice gesture. The preserve houses a variety of rogue wolves, raptors, grizzlies, etc that either harassed humans or vice versa and or were injured. I will attempt to attach a video of the grizzlies. The other animal images were captured in Yellowstone, Custer Natl Park or roadside on public roads. https://grizzlyctr.givecloud.co/ IMG_8288.mov IMG_6533.MOV IMG_8164.mov

  12. What a great spot you have made Steven. Sometimes just sitting down in a spot like that with a friend is just as good as any adventure. Thought of you and your forestry work today as I made a second paddle trip down the Penobscot to the island with the boom house museum. Found out is is always open and unlocked with no one there watching over it. Couple old phones at the museum, tried calling you, must have been out of the office. Did an early morning remote paddle first. mike
