We left the HI on Friday and the snow conditions were better and temps were lower at L'tape. Hit warm temps and much less snow as we got closer to Quebec city. People were riding out of Quebec city. Conditions may not be what they typically are in the Saguenay region, but they are much better than other places. Thanks for a great time. Always a pleasure speaking and visiting with fellow riders.

We met Yellowboots in person while taking the ferry from matane to godbout 5-6 years ago. We had heard of the legendary Yellowboots. I will always consider Ken a true Rough Rider. Not my usual mileage amount as I was busy with work and one of my riding partners was at the police academy for the winter. 2658 almost evenly split between Canada and USA. I did get out during the best conditions possible.

You can buy motorola handheld units and helmet speaker and microphone kits that some people use for long distance communications. Your distance is only limited to how powerful a unit you buy. I think you can get up to a 5 watt unit portable unit. You may need an FCC license though, and the cost is very high. A good professional radio shop can help you to get set up.

I just wanted to share this picture with you. This is my grandson Brayden, he will be 1 year old in a couple weeks. Bill, we may have a few upgrades in sleds before he makes it to the HI.
