  2. Salad Ceaser.......super creamy and tasty dressing
  3. Ok......time for some “food porn” dinner last night at 100 Lacs appetizer some kinda seafood pastry......YUM YUM
  4. Right across the street from Lunic last night around 7 pm
  5. Yesterday morning. Has since been groomed
  6. Pulled into 100 Lacs last night at 730 pm came from M21 & M20 area. first tracks to 345 junction. Single lane down the middle all the way to Repos. Repos to Manawan good on the logging road sections.Manawan to Lunic was all good on the loggging roads but wooded sections 8-10 miles before there were TRASHED with hanging limbs and branches. Will take a lot of work to clear. Fresh groomed from Lunic into 100. Lacs. The 13 north of 100 Lacs this a.m. was rideable but very bumpy and needs a good grooming. In Parent now and we are heading back to the M21 camp tomorrow and 90% looks like it’s all been groomed.
  7. Once more thing before we go Guy and his wife riding two up just came in from Kanawata where they stayed last night. They report no rain until st Michele and already 7-8 inches in Kanawata and ,,4-5 inches at Repos Personally I would wait 2-3 for storm and grooming to produce OPTIMAL trail conditions Hit it then and you will NOT be disappointed PEACE
  8. And thru my Bluetooth headset just changed over to snow Party time Everyone have a GREAT weekend and I'll update tomorrow night from 100 Lacs Zoom in pic for SNOW Flakes
  9. Have seen Rush 63 times and have met them several Have a HUGE 30+ year memorabilia collection that was probably worth a new snowmobile Now I think it might be worth two new ones Still raining good here at LeCabanon at 11 a.m. Have only seen two sleds pass here in the last 1.5 hrs About 30-40 people anxiously awaiting the rain to change over to snow
  10. just pulling into LeCabanon road up to here sheet of ice and raining medium steady parking lot only 1/3 full
  11. Very sad day for me and the legions of Rush fans the world over. Late yesterday it was announced that drummer, lyricist & author Neil Peart died on Tuesday after a 3+ year battle with brain cancer. Wether or not your a Rush fan the world lost a profound and gifted musician and drummer. Anyone who knows me knows besides family and friends that the two most pleasurable things in life for me are (and always have been) my love and passion for snowmobiling and my all time favorite band Rush. So last trip I was riding for and dedicated the trip to my beloved cat "Peanut" on her journey to kitty heaven. Today's starting ride will be dedicated to Neil and Rush. Thank you for the 40+ year's of music that has brought so much joy to myself and millios around the world. You will be sorely missed. In St Jean de Martha this early a.m.. and myself and 3 dear friends are driving an hour up the road to LeCabanon to launch. 75 miles from there to the camp and other northern Lanaudiere destinatios over the next 4 days. I just went out for a morning smoke and the trucks (and everything else) are coated with freezing rain and ice.Not something you want to see but everyone knew was coming. Hopefully today's shitstorm won't be as bad as they are saying. I won't be posting my normal trail reports as we have no internet access at the cabin but will try and get a pic or two out and trail report as we will be in Parent on Monday night. Have a SAFE weekend fellow trail shredders !
  12. Another really nice place to stay over near Moffet & Laforce is Gite Paquin on Main st Bellettere. Awesome super clean super comfy big rooms upstairs and she will cook you a GREAT breakfast. Dinner at the restaurant right next door.
  13. 4 a.m. that sports bar is open that late ??? Judas !!! The nice thing is the Opemiska has cheaper rooms (all have TV & fridge) with shared bathroom OR full apartment with kitchen and either 2-3 seperate bedrooms down in the basement level. The middle floor only has 1 room with a king size bed that can be broken down into two doubles if you call them ahead. This room has its own bathroom as do the apartments on lower level. I'm assuming you didnt get much sleep last night bro. BE SAFE today. Only about 150 mile round trip to Mistissini from there. Did you get my PM about the gas ?
  14. 431 miles ...Jesus Mary Mother of God....I'm guessing your in your 30's Quebecorbust. I never even hit the 400 club. My high day ever was 384. Glad someone took my advise and experienced what I did a short while back. I see the Mistissini leg was just groomed again and YOU WILL HAVE A BLAST my friend !!!! Give her an extra little pinch for me coming out of the corners please. And oh BTW.....please return my sled ....i'm leaving tomorrow and need it. How do you like the Opemiska and what floor did you guys stay on ? How many others at the hotel while you were there ?
  15. Yup....this is EXACTLY what this guy needs. An old fashioned "beat down" like Billy Hayes did to the rat Rifke. I remember seeing this when it first came out and many times since. IMO...one of the top 10 most influential movies of our time. And all true no less.
  16. And he finally returns. Glad to see you back Alain !! Looks like a nice little ride. Heading up to camp friday with the boys and NOT looking forward to the more crazy weather in store. Hope you had a good time in the Carribean !
  17. So, so GLAD you guys are enjoying the area RR !!! Did you stay at Opemiska and what was your thoughts ? That first pic of yours says it all..........about as PERFECT as it gets.
  18. Go to Louvicort or better yet Lac Tiblemont area and head north. Call Bobby at Auberge Tiblemont where I’m sure he’ll have a room and safe parking for your rig while your away.
  19. 1/2" rain + weekend traffic+ low snow so far this season = IMO....stay away from this area.
  20. I PROMISED her I wouldn't show it to anybody else.☺️
