  1. Ski not tracking with crispy conditions and combination carbide set up is a great heads up . Everyday is  new day with different riding conditions as we all know. Just passing on a past couple experiences I have had when over night  high winds tend to topple pine trees in trail.  I keep that in the back of my mind once I get out there first thing in the morning and start running indy on twisty trails. Ride safe and have a good one all..

Was thinking of a four-stroke this year for my Quebec rides but from my experience with the maintenance on them and there never seems to be little issues.  I think two stroke as long as I can.  I personally know a rider that has a 850 skidoo that will be around 10000 miles this year.  And that's in one season.  His first 850 will be over 12k and be sold off at end of season..  no issue with either of these sleds.  Two strokes can last.  I am biased towards Polaris myself and that new 850 looks really nice.

Thanks for the insight ! Have 4400 miles on my 18   850.  :yahoo: My 16 1200 bent a valve @ 4200 miles. Disappointing for sure.:cray:

51/21 chain case gearing, better tell nick to get himself a gas and oil can, it will be a blast out of the hole with that gearing but will probably use a little more fuel on the trail.

2 1/2" track. You know he will have enough of both to help you out !:good:

  4. Well here we are at the finish line. Left Amqui @ 9  headed quest 587 to 5 west junction 35 west got gas 98 miles. Wet snow visor WTF . Burn down 35 looking for gas intersection 85 North can't find go by relay turn to 526 one bar on my gas  guage  boys pull up Nick says not going to make 4 miles to Universal. It quits right there. I pull my can put half in Enduro other half in Jared RX 1. No Quebecbob for 10 minutes he shows up saying he had to dump his can. Now we are regrouped back to home base. My gas light comes on 4 miles to go easy peasy.  Bob says the lead guy gets the best mileage. I said oh ICEMAN WON'T agree.

All in all warm temps but trails nice 227 miles in to load at 3:00. Very snerty  here now.  1597 miles for this adventure. Happy trail to all !
