There is a local Maine snowmobile club here Id love to buy this for. From a recent conversation I had with their trailmaster large areas they groom there is no cell service and the huge concern is the volunteers most somewhat older are in big trouble if they break down in a groomer with no contact especially at night. Unbiased experts are saying the peak of Omicron is 2-3 weeks away and will die out very quickly. Not like the other variants. Lets hope so. If thats the case…. Feb-March should be much better with less restrictions.

So the couple we were meeting in Mt Valin had a setback on his rehab for a shoulder injury they expected to be behind them by now. Rehab shut him down so we will switch back to “maybe” mode for Christmas week there. We will ride the county here if possible…or may still run to Mt Valin area or another area.

If they close it again at this point, it will only be based on hysteria. Then again, NY state declared a State Of Emergency today based on this milder sickness variant with zero cases there.….so we aren’t much better. Yes the new variant spreads, but so does alot of things. All indications are it is weakened. Pure state, media, and Fauci spread panic at this point. Im still an optomist.

That seems crazy but it could happen I know….unless they follow the current science. Im waiting until Dec 8 to decide. South African Health Official stated yesterday that this variant has very mild symptoms…dont expect to hear that on NBC until the fear is much higher. He said there doesn't appear to be enough ill effects with it to cause hospitalization. No loss of taste or smell either. Of course the glorified list of horrible “new variant” deaths begins an hour after someone has a heart attack and they find he/she had the Omicron virus. BTW, Does natural COVID immunity protect us? Fauci said “thats a good question we need to look into that”…..6 months ago. He is no medical scientist or he would insist on knowing this info and publishing it. Phony political hack is all he has become. Sad. No conspiracy theories here, just a few facts. Use multiple mindset news sources not just 1 or 2. Make up your own mind vs one type news source telling you what to think. Most of all, Be smart not scared.

Lets hope not ! I know it is controversial to minimize any hysteria, but the earliest reports claim much milder symptoms than Delta….as is very common with mutations I guess. No issue here with this moving to the COVID section.
