  1. Try contacing here for Map or ask hotel to send to you. http://www.abitibi-temiscamingue-tourism.org/snowmobile/trails-condition/ Signs should point you in.
  2. The Alpin is not right on trail. Rouyn-Noranda has a trail that basically circles the city and has feeders off that to the different things there. It is not far off the TQ trail but not right on it.
  3. Jan 6 34F Had big shot of freezing rain overnight. Trees all bent over bad. Lost Power for quite a few hrs. Steady Rain Now. Ugly.
  4. Jan 5 Warmer Today 18F Light Snow. They say will change to freezing rain and then RAIN for monday. With a high of +6C(like40F) Lets hope not too much rain cause with the cold coming in right after, Zamboni's will work better than groomers on the trails the way they are now. Flat and Frozen.
  5. Jan 4 Sweltering today -3F Light snow Flurries.
  6. Yes, warming up here -3F. Have fun Mark and crew. Wish I was there.
  7. If i was closer I would have went with you. Glad to hear you had a great ride. Go get em Trailblazer!
  8. I think you mean -26C I got -13F here. Either way you slice it means cold.
  9. Its an un-maintained trail. No grooming this year there. Probably not many signs either.
  10. Ran river yesterday all very safe just follow sticks. Not bad at all. Cold yesterday buf fine much shorter to go this way. Gas at Cabanon (cash only 1.57 a liter) then at mattawin. After crossing bridge and road atthe exit of Parc on 360 go up hill there is a T intersection continue straight down hill into gas station lot. Resto across the street. Then back up to T make a right go until you see orange trail on right takes you to river. Trails all groomed perfectly.
  11. Gutz everthing is golden. Just rode 360 to 345 to Cabanon yesterday all good. About 90 miles to Cabanon then 80-85 to gas at Mattawin 345 to 360. Then 360 back to st joseph or down river back to Shawinigan. All good. Not too far between gas.
  12. You have quite a nice playground there near you. Enjoyed it for sure. Fun to see new trails.
  13. There you go Tom. Thanks GT I was looking for that for him and could not find it in my memory banks here.
  14. Unreal some of the best trails I've seen in a long time and its on Jan 2. Cold is an understatement and today was not for the Rookies out there. Wicked cold. Just finished up riding with Scorpionbowl for the past 6 days. Covered some ground for sure. All trails are super, 10/10 Saturday Went from Relais Iceman to Kanawata via Lac Repos and the Kanawata Express. Sunday from Kanawata down to St Michelle des Saints and out through the Parc to the Cafeteria and on to Coin Lavinge, then down thru St Come and stayed ay Vieux Moullin. Monday from Vieux Moullin we looped back thru St Come then down south and to Rawdon. Then rode a bunch of trails near there and headed for St Gabriel de Brandon. (lot's of new territory for us explored here) stayed at Auberge resto-Pub St. Gab. Tuesday we went south and headed west toward Joilette (love all the red sticks with Joilette stenciled on each one) went on around and again we were exploring rode a bunch of new stuff for us here and ended up in L'Assomption just outside montreal area. Wanted to press on west to try and see how far we could get that way west but time was running out. We turned and burned and ran the 3 to late lunch in Berthierville and then back east on 3 then 3/63 to St Etienne and back home for New Years with Mrs. iceman. Wed. A little delayed start as planned but headed west on 3 and down thru Louiseville and then up thru 350 to Lac Blanc. Then on to St Damien and up 23 to Real Masse. (i have been by Real Masse maybe many many many times. Usually its too close for Lunch and too close to sleep) So we finally decided to stay there and very glad we did. Great stop and nice folks. Gotta love the Bonus of that heated sled shelter on a night like last night. Oh yeah baby. The Ladies were living large in the heated Garage. Thurs headed out left 8:30 am temp -30c brrr wicked cold. 23 to Cabanon for gas. arrived at Cabanon. Saw lots of sleds all Parked in Corral. Guy comes out to pump the gas and says "you guys are brave", We head for the 345 and go across to the 360 then turn left toward Repo's and take the M20 back to 360 and then to Mattawin. Stopped to warm up at Marineau there took some lunch then back on 360 then right and down to Auberge Mekinac and we run the river back to Shawinigan. Returned home at 2:30pm. Fantastic Condtions and saw 6 sleds all day. 1 solo guy on 345 and right near Mattawin a Tour Group of 5 sleds(tearing it up at about 10 mph) when i die and go to hell that will be my punishment. To ride 3rd in line of an eternal tour group doing top speed of 15 mph. Get up here and get out there.
  15. Was that crossing in Trois Rivere's or QC City?
  16. viper I do not think Dominic owns Tamarac just the resto/gas and the Auberge Clova. i'm confused but they said "our competitor And the Present owner" not sure if he did buy it but I don't know. Sounds like 2 people. Dominic and the present owner of Tamarac. Hows that saying go? "this town's not big enough for the two of us."
  17. I know the gas is a must. I was just saying to support Tamarac as some were saying they wanted to Boycot Clova. Can not do it if you are using 83. But if they want to Boycot then they can not use 83. Not realistic. Believe me Dominic knows it too. He has the Market cornered there gas wise. I have met him and for sure seems nice to me. (but i am not a competitor i was a customer)
  18. Doing great, just had dinner at her house this past friday. Working a couple different places now.
  19. Tom That was Le Radoteux yes good place. Was me n you and MXSenior. Yes? Yeah Pub 57 another Shawinigan Icon gone. Lots of Memories there. Too bad.
  20. With Clova out of the Plan then you options to stay are pretty much all given above. Having Forrestal as Saturday night makes 83 the only real option. Too long the other way from Rabaska. On 63. Its not like there are alot of choices out that way.
  21. I'm not making the gathering but whatever is goona be your stop you all need to pick and get calling. That is a Friday Night and you need to be somewhere. Better get it sorted. You are not talking about 1 or 2 rooms you are a pretty big group no?
  22. There is also http://feracheval.ca/en/motoneige/ Not much further then 100 Lacs but bigger place. Good Position to run to Val d'Or
