  1. Yamaha has some for sure for front plastics not sure about for the tunnel.
  2. I had one overheating issue first year with my 08 apex with frozen trail. Added rear heat exchanger and have not had another issue with mine ever. Every sled is different for sure. I though he was worried about slides for overheating surely you have a point.
  3. Put some Dupont slides on there and go. Almost 15k km on my set and still going. Half of last season and all of this season. Well worth the $$$$$.
  4. Moroneys is in Newburgh yes? I know that place.
  5. Improvise and overcome the only way to do it. Good guys at the Maximum Aventure there in Grand Mere. Have had others use them in the past. Experiences all good.
  6. Awesome Mark, sounds like you made out real good.

  10. Have a great ride guys. Thanks for the care package from the USA. Much appreciated.
  11. Trails still good but soft. All pavement bare (gas, motels) very warm but not bad. Rain forecast for monday. Late season normal conditions. For 2 day run should be good to go.

  17. Very Strange indeed I could not believe how bad in Saguenay near the jonquiere and Chicoutimi. Even going to Mt Valin very very sketchy.
  18. Gonna try JG. Yeah shock went early on trip, rode on just the Spring for a long ways.
  19. Thanks Bill, i saw some others coming up from there on the lake at the bottom of hill. You certainly know your way around that area better then me, thanks for the info much appreciated. That hill must be something for the Groomer to climb. I'd like to watch that. Thanks Jim and Gemma. Yeah will get the sled all tuned up and hit it again next Week. Thinking back to the West.
  20. Saturday March 2 Un-real how much snow is here. Snowed a good 17" while I was away this week. Still snowing tonight. Wow!
  21. Thanks everyone! Yeah I guess its overdue for some loving that shock. It started to fade day 2 she held up a long way, but just couldn't make it the last 15 miles.
  22. Snowman, lots of practice for Caro. She is an expert Snow blower operator now. Can not complain the my sled has treated me real well. I certainly put her through quite a bit. Unreal the snow here most I've seen in a long time here.
  23. Sounds really Fine. As always you need to take the good with the bad as we all know. West is Best.
  24. Day 8 Baie St. Paul to Shawinigan Decided to Run back to the house today. Left Baie St. Paul and found the groomers were out in force. Smooth sailing all the way to Quebec City TQ3 Gas in Quebec City then TQ3 was still looking good and everyone was headed East great for us going west. Nice. Took 302 thru Donnacona then continued back to TQ3 thru St. Prosper and on down to St. Narcisse. That was the end of the trail for me. I knew my rear shock had seen better days and she finally had enough. Actually snapped the shock mount off the skid. Game Over. On the bright side i was right at the road and Pizzeria 67. Snohorse ran to the house gathered up the truck and trailer and came back for the rescue. 15 minutes from the house by road. Better then in Baie Comeau. Well surgery scheduled for monday gonna get her all patched up. Finished up with 1957 miles for the trip. Well me about 1945 or so. Sled now has 55,600 km on her. All in all mostly great lots of snow, near the roads and all parking lots are end season conditions, but still lots to be ridden, go get em.
