  2. Hi Bill, We had intended to stay at the DS. Mother Nature had the last say. I wanted to thank you for helping us get the gloves last year. They were great in the -40 weather. We look foward to seeing your posts and pictures. Thanks. Jim

We got on 63 south of Cabanon it looked worse. When we reached the Bistro the snow reappeared freshly groomed to La Glaciere. 232 miles. 3060 for the 12 days.

  9. We left Clova this am 83 east to the east trail for Barrage Gouin. 83 was in good shape. One note 5 miles out of Parent I hit a 90 degree turn that was iced over it could be a problem if anyone hits it to hot. We rode down the west side from the barrage heading east on 83. We took 345 to Kanawata for the night. It was all good but for the one spot mentioned. 221 miles -25c.

  11. Crazy Will do. We are having a great stay here.
  12. My wife and I agree. Scoobyraid is a great place to stay. William and Marie make you feel right at home.
  13. We left Val-d Or this am for Clova. 83 east all the way. There is good snow coverage with no ice or dirt after the warm up. Here is the scoop there is a 30 mile stretch that needs grooming. It starts 4 miles east of Balbuzard till 24 miles west of Clova. 208 miles today
  14. Hi Andy We are at the Tamarac. It was an 83 all day ride. Good snow coverage no ice or dirt. 24 miles west of Clova for 30 miles it is rough. It needs a grooming. Do you know a groomer operator that needs something to do HA HA. it gets better about 4 miles before Balbuzard. I would not let it stop me if I needed to pass through. I must thank Bill for the glove recommendation. It has been mighty cold and the gloves are a life saver.
  15. Andy We are leaving Val-Dor for Clova this am. I will try to post conditions tonight. Jim
  16. Hi Linda I wish I had known. I will look next time. Out of la Bannik we took 63 to 83. We rode with 6 guys from Snowgoer for about 50 miles. We passed a groomer 10 miles into the ride after that there was some choppy sections here and there. Good snow just needs groomed after weekend. 83 east at Rouyn-Noranda to Val-dOr. Again trails have good snow some chop here and there. 232 miles today mostly beautiful blue sky and -13f.

  18. We left senneterre this am. We took 83 to Val-Dor the trail was in great shape. We got on 309 south to Laforce this was my first time on 309 it was great. At Laforce we took the local to 63 west. On 63 just west of Fugereville the trail looked thin and was bumpy approximately 10 miles. Once we got on the 303 railbed it was back to dream ride. We took 303 to 63 north all good. We are at La Bannik it's very nice. 216 miles today. -11f . Hi Joel hope the post helps.
  19. We left Chibougmau this am 93 was freshly groomed super nice. 11 miles past the chaplains club house it was breaking trail time. There was a big dump and 93 needs a groomer. Just east of the Quevillon club house it returned to nicely groomed. We clocked in 234 miles. We saw one group of 4 all the way to Quevillon. It's -15f.
  20. We left Scoobyraid for Chibougamau yesterday. We took the local to Milot to 93. The river crossing was like an skating rink. The trail was hard but groomed flat I used my scratchers. Once we reached 93 the trail was freshly groomed and the scratchers were not necessary. 93 to 373 to 93 we passed a groomer trails were all nice. La Dore to Chibougamau was all groomed and nice.
