  1. Indeed. As I said, I would suspect there are some politics, personality, and attitude issues at play here....
  2. Gaspésie this past February.

    Lodging

Sad indeed. Thanks for the information!!
  5. Good morning, I was looking at the Interactive map. I noticed no lodging listed in Mont St Pierre. I realize that businesses must pay to be on the map, but I thought that both hotels had been listed in the past? I heard that the Delice might not be open this winter, and that restaurant definitely would not. Does anyone have any information? How about the Hotel/Motel Mont St Pierre? Will they be open this winter? I have never stayed at that one. I wish I had the techno-savvy to create a Quebecrider database for fuel and lodging...It's becoming challenging(For Me) to plan trips from hundreds of miles away and struggling with the language barrier. Merci.
  6. Good Information. Thank you.
  7. Sad, but pretty typical in the world we live in today. I am glad I enjoyed a few 5000-7000 mile seasons a quarter century ago, when I was a younger man.
  8. From the Gaspe this past season... Tour De La Gaspésie 2023
  9. That might certainly work, but could be problematic if he were to get stopped.... They are (understandably) very fussy about these permits. Both to ensure every sled on the trail has a paid permit, but also to be the insurance piece is associated with the appropriate sled and owner/rider. I guess in the big cost picture, $90 Canadian is not going to affect a U. S. rider's season that much. Or, so it seems to me. Probably the difference of 2-3 fuel fills. Hopefully the sled comes in on time.🤞
  10. Probably not. As well as the VIN, you will need to enter a registration number from your home state , which you need the VIN to obtain....
  11. Indeed. There must be some politics/attitudes involved.
  12. Indeed. That missing trail from La Cache to Murdochville......😪
  13. Thank you for the information. Very sad and frustrating that it is (apparently) unclear to many riders how all this works.
  14. Following. I have not had any sucess searching Google, and Quebec tourism.
  15. Mine arrived yesterday.👍 I bought New Brunswick last Tuesday, the tenth.
  16. Cool. What did you come with for a route and lodging?
  17. Yes, exactly. Many folks don't like to bring the truck and trailer into Canada though..
  18. Yes, exactly. You are riding in New Brunswick, and Should buy a trail pass. The only way to avoid it, is to ride out the Allagash trail and cross at that end into Quebec. Or, park in Jackman, and leave from there.
  19. It could be traveling in a North Westerly direction. To head toward the Gaspe Region, I believe it's about 30 Miles East to NB 12 just North of Edmunston. From there, it's not very many miles to the Border and Quebec 85, and the town of Degelis, where you can hang a right onto the greet 571 and head North Easterly toward the Gaspe.
