Same here, we must have crossed paths many many times.

I remember those hand drawn maps and the single width  trails that had the median in them(they were before the maps). Started staying at LeCabanon the year Dennis and Dianne opened, prior to that we stayed at LaGlaciere when Eddie and the misses had it.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I am probably wasting my time but I got lots of time anyway so here goes.
picture it like this. Forget USA, Canada.
Let’s say for fun, you have four people in your house, you and the wife and two children. OK? You have masks for your family of four. Say you have 12 masks. You don’t know when or if you can get more.
Now your neighbor has 6 people in his house that need masks as they have none. And your neighbor on the other side of street needs 6 for his family. Are you giving up your only masks to your neighbors or keeping them for your own family first?
It is no different then what the USA is doing. They are taking care of their own first. That is the presidents job, to take care of Americans first, before anyone else.
simple as that.
Ask Justin why he sent all them masks and supplies to China a few months back.

Don't mean to be a jerk, but I see this far too often when I am riding so wanted to bring it up in hopes of making an impact.  It seems like your crew is blocking the entire intersection in 3 of those pictures.

Looks like the injector pump died and the turbo started pulling oil out of the oil pan to run on, they usually start revving up big time.

i went grooming last night and i reached the end of the trail ...like we say here....im exhausted.....tired of swearing all the time...
my season started on the wrong foot ....and it has been  like that since the beginning .....
while grooming last night , check engine came on and wake up  call came in .....telling me that its was time to stop ...
so, im  officially retiring from grooming before bad luck with health ....not very good to swear like that all the time ....
 
i feel very bad for those who bought trail passes from our club ....those who paid me  beer and wine and let me money ...gifts ...etc........thats life and i can t do anything about that !!!!
i never expected to have a bad season like that ....
im just back from clubhouse to let fleurette know....she never expected that ...
29 years ago , when i started working for my boss ( summer job ) i told him and keep reminding him time to time......when bad luck stick to me.....can be for a long time.....
thats the resumé of my season.....

Have been waiting to reply to this for some time now. I have gone back and re read all of the comments here and agree with most and totally disagree with some like this one. We all ride differently and in different areas. I personally (nothing new for me) have had more than a  dozen rides this season alone where I do not see ANYONE for 100 miles or MORE. And when I do it sometimes results in a “holy shit” moment. Being a “remote bush basher” I have always felt a moral obligation (to the best of my ability) to signal others while running these remote areas. In towns and busier areas is a WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY and my outlook is vastly different. 
I have known about the RideLites for years and this year knowing I was going to be doing more big solo rides was the time to get one. As another poster mentioned “these machines are getting faster and more capable” and I for one admit IM NOT. Anything that can make mine or another riders ride more safe than I’m all for it. 
i am extremely pleased with it and it’s durability so far. My moral obligations are met, no lifting hands off bar and I feel I have done my duty while keeping both YOU and I as safe as possible. I still run into the occasional group in the bush who feels they don’t have (or want) to signal and to you I say “piss off” but most realize the importance and where they are riding and do signal. 
So while the above commenter said “they should ban RideLites” .........this is my take........
if I was “King” for the day I would immediately pass a law that all manufactures have one mounted on the sled upon build.
i would also make it mandatory while riding remote areas with long stretches of “nothing in between” to have and use one. I could care less if someone is behind them and they don’t know it. Because that person too would have one on and it would be self explanatory.
again this is all just my opinion

you could be absolutely right , im not a diesel guru !!!
time to time muffler was blowing thick smoke  like on the pics for a few second...
and when it started...i was still in the cab ...motor was spitting oil at the bottom of the muffler......thats when i decided to quit the ship !!!
yesterday morning i went to the tractor dealer where the groomer is to recuperate the phone antenna....
they had removed the valve cover and the mechanic was on his way to lift the head....
 
i hope they ll fix it very quickly , already bored to groom with the one i have right now....need more hp .....very boring and make runs not much interesting !!!
just like doing the gaspesie loop with a little tundra instead of a renegade 850 !!!

Looks like the injector pump died and the turbo started pulling oil out of the oil pan to run on, they usually start revving up big time.

I know that at Le Cabanon, you put your truck and trailer in the parking compound which is locked, and they tell you not to leave your sleds in the trailer but to keep them in the secured corral..
The reason being is the trail is accessible from that lot, your truck and trailer is secure there and your sled is secure in the corral.
