I certainly like that idea.. 4 days instead of 3.. It really wouldn't bother me if the cost of the permit went up. smclelan said it already.. the overall cost of the machines and maintaining the trails is not cheap.. If they were not maintained the way they are I'm sure a lot of us would not be riding in CA and we wouldn't even be talking about the trail pass permits... It's really a small price to pay to ride some of the best trails.

Anyone headed up to CA this week to ride? Was originally going to do a saddlebag ride but had some last minute cancellations from rest of group.. Still want to ride... Thought about goin solo and staying at Delta in Jonquiere.. Maybe hook up with others that may be doing day trips out of the Delta?? Who knows... Takin a shot but you gotta do what you gotta do

Scranton1, I was checking out the QR posts as I always do and I happened to take notice that you are from Nazareth PA..! Where about in Nazareth? I'm in Plainfield Twsp.. How often do you ride in Canada? The dude I rode with last year went last week.( I met him on QR) I didn't go because of thing called work... He and I plan on a ride this year but not sure exactly when. Most likely doing the Gaspe in March sometime. I was hoping to ride sometime in Feb and March.. What about you?

Can't blame the rider. He was just following the sled with the ugly sticker on the side and the 2 man purses hanging off the back. Now that could be a long story...

Once again.. Glad everyone is healing OK! I've been riding for 23 years now mostly in Canada and northern Maine.. I've had my share of close calls etc.. A couple of years ago my riding partner came around a corner in broad daylght about 40 miles from the HS and hit a groomer at about 30 mph!! He was pretty banged up but fortunetely because of quick reactions both the groomer operator and my partner both turned right at the last second and he hit the rear track on the groomer and not head on. I have 4 simple rules.. KNOW YOUR LIMITATIONS.. RESPECT THE MACHINE.. DON'T OVER DRIVE YOUR HEADLIGHT.. EXPECT THE UNEXCECTED..
