  1. Haha The sacrifices we make for our sport!
  2. The FCMQ have a very structure breakdown of how money from permit sales are spent. Being close to the sport as I am, it gives me the opportunity to know exactly where some of these $$ go. They are building specific funds with these increases to go toward groomer replacement matching dollars, infrastructure (bridges, new trails) projects matching dollars, club operational costs, and these types of programs that benefit all permit buyers throught the province. I certainly don't have any issues with paying the permit price.
  3. Is that the chap you and I met with the farm tractor pulling the drag behind him to smooth the road? That bag has been in a lot of pictures! I will tell Rick it is still/Stihl going. LOL
  4. I like the picture with the dead stick in the lake, great lighting and colors.
  5. It is a video that you can watch over and over! I went mountain sledding this year for the first time and there wasn't powder like that but I agree it is all in the technique!
  6. Nice picture young fellar, here is that same bridge in 1998. (Taken with a 2MP camera LOL) Hint: The first bridge Scorpionbowl was showing....think the Gaspesie.
  7. Due to the extreme topography of the Gaspesie none are perfect, once you get far outside any town service will be scetchy.
  8. Been there, done that, and before you, as you might notice.
  9. Hotel Tamarac The real home cooked meals, the atmosphere, the feeling of staying with good friends. Indoor parking for sleds. There is a really nice bar to sit in with friend and tell some of the best/worst snowmile lies ever told:: I didn't really runout of gas, i didn't fill it to the next last time I was gaining on you fast, if not for the corner I thought the ice looked thick enough I would say the belt was bad right from the factory From what I had experinced last winter all you have to do is ask and Carol and Al will do anything in their power to help make your stay more enjoyable or memorable Good Luck Carol and Al!, I hope you have long winter with losts of snow, we will take care of the rest! Steven
  10. Great to see you as a QuebecRider Advertiser!! Party at the Hotel Tamarac!! Remember to all members when traveling through Clova who is helping support our great little website. Thanks Carol.
  11. Very uncivilized!! Almost as bad as the first time I tried to have beer with supper at Groomers camp! "We drink wine with supper here!" I was told! LOL
  12. Correct! The picture is LongriderSS on the left, myself in the middle, and Groomer on the right, the building is the shelter at the very top. 1307m elevation I think. Scorpionbowl is just sour because he can't climb mountains like us young bucks!
  13. How come you can post pics of lookouts you can't ride to and when I do it I am disqualified????
  14. Ah yes Jean Guy, you have just won a beer at Groomers clubhouse. Just tell him to buy and I will square up with him later LOL
  15. Don't worry, after one litre of Rouge Groomer can't translate anyways!!
  16. Hmmm the entrance of Park Matane? Heading in from Cap Chat?
  17. Come on Gary you can do better than that!! That is the TQ 5 heading East out of Riviere Madeleine on the way to the big salmon ladder. There is a big switch back in front of your car.
  18. Get a load of this, a live web cam. I have been watching these guys since before the eggs hatched. These three are getting pretty big now. This is on the Millenium Trail in the city of Whitehorse, Yukon Canada http://www.yecleagles.com/
  19. Is that to cross the river right at the golf course where we saw the groomers?
