Our group is looking for the quickest most efficient route to get from Shawinigan to Mattatwin this weekend 2/20. We were wondering if the current condition of the 347 river trail is safe and good all the way until it exits up towards the 360 trail? Is the 318, 351?, 360 trail around a better option at this point and in good condition? Thanks in advance

Who grooms the new Reservoir Gouin trail, Club Alliance du Nord or do you have another club? Is it a federation funded trail or private? A. Use your atm card for cash once in Canada: Good exchange but can only get so much out per day plus ATM fees at both ends. B. Use your credit card: Good exchange rate but pay a foriegn exchange fee. I think mine is 1%. It has been mentioned that credit card companys should not be charging this.

Just another thought for when you guy do the run. Gas and food can be tough on a Sunday at the Sawmill between La Dore and Chibougamau. Any other day seems no problem. All in all an awsome run on the loops mentioned. Once you do it, you will be back.

Trail 355 North of Lac Eduard open again this year. Trail 347 between Marineau's in Riviere Mattawin and La Tuque closed again this year. I think you can get from the village of La Tuque out to Odonack and maybe Chez Black? Question: What is the trail status around the Pourvoirie Du Lac Repos, new short cut trail North to Parent/Weymonticie. What number is short cut trail, 369? Places to stay on that trail & gas, Kanawata, Lac Chateauvert, Casey? Going South from Repos still trail 345/360 to East side of power dam towards Mattawin?
