rev39
Is it worth while to make the ride over to and stay at the casino in La Malbie. I'm sure it is a beautiful place, but do they have a secure place for sleds at night?
Mid Range
Is it worth while to make the ride over to and stay at the casino in La Malbie.I'm sure it is a beautiful place, but do they have a secure place for sleds at night? Once in a lifetime.......I would say yes.Although i'm not really into casinos(gambling).I've stayed there once. This hotel is part of FCMQ recommended secure hotels.I have seen a guy loosing $700 while on a sled trip  http://www.fcmq.qc.ca/english/pages.asp?id=
MrGutz
I did it last year, the trip from the HI to the Fairmont was only 120ish miles, a good way to see if "Saddle Bagging" is for you, there was very little snow along the water so conditions varied mile to mile as you got closer (Hopfully this year will be better), Indoor Heated Secure Parking! Nice Place. Gutz
MichiganRev
The food is excellent there, they serve a awesome breakfast buffet. I think I remember twice out of maybe 8 times of staying there that the trail was decent the closer you get. Sometimes there was low snow, but mostly just 2-3 foot deep moguls. At the end of a long days ride those last 10 -15 miles seem to take forever. Other than that, a great place to stay!
scorpionbowl
It may be the only casino in the world where you can't drink while gambling. Drinks are only allowed in the bar [and aren't free].
