Caraquet and Lameque RCMP responded to the collision at approximately 2:30 a.m. on March 23, 2014. The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Investigation into the cause of crash is ongoing. The name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of his family. Maybe because we are a relatively small community and know it could happen to any one of us or someone that we know. It touches us deeply. Our prayers yet again go out to the families involved.
