Who: QuebecRider.com members and there families. What: A summer get together. When: July 18 and 19, 2008. Where: Franconia, NH at the Cannon Mountain View Motel and the Above the Notch Restaurant and Tavern, www.cannonmtview.com in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire. I have reserved 20 rooms for this weekend. To make reservations please call Ray or Yvonne at 603-823-9577. Price is $75/night+tax. Friday night there is live music in the Tavern starting at 9:30PM. The restaurant serves very good food and Saturaday evening they will be putting on a dinner for us. More details on this will be forth coming in about 4 weeks. When I get back home and work out the details. The motel has a large heated pool, hot tub, picnic tables with gas grills, free wireless Internet access, A/C, color cable TV, refrigerator, microwave, in-room coffee, and designated pet rooms are available. There are many area attractions such as Whales Tale Water Park, Cannon Mt Aerial Tramway. Mt Washington Cog Rail Road, Golf courses, Robert Frost Home, Clark's Trading Post, The Flume, Hobo Railroad, Lost river, Story Land, Santa's Village, the Basin, 7- Mile Bike Path and Echo Lake. In addition there are several 100 mile loops for the motorcyclist. Start making plans now to attend. These rides will be open to the public as well as for us QuebecRiders.com guys and gals. So for those of you who haven't ridden one now is your chance. This was made available to us by one of our members, snowworks. Thanks Joel for sitting this up for us. I didn't note that the Cannon View Motel also has a fire pit that will be available to us so we can rehash last winters rides around a nice camp fire and have a few into the wee hours. We will have some members, one of which is an advertiser, at the gathering displaying items. Snowworks, who is a member and an advertiser will be here with the complete fall line up of Choko's full line of clothing. For those of you haven't seen Joel and his cube van you will be in for a treat. He has a cube van with the entire lineup in it. You will be very impressed with how this is displayed. Also machz-242 will be here with his instructrional video on how to service your SD clutches. I have set of his tools and am now able to service my own clutches. I will know by May 21 if I can get an ETEC displayed and am going to try to contact some other dealers to see if they are interested in displaying any of their sleds. I want to remind everyone that those who will be staying over need make your room reservations.
