WE should never get started with paying for a piece of trail . it will kill the sport. lsj did it to a couple farmers a few years ago.. no 2 strokes another bad idea , they are as clean as 4 strokes. what about summer traffic polluting... they are not the ones to groom so why do we pay sepac. , in the long run if this does not change it will be even worst for st. donat..people will skip the area all together..

A region on NY (Old Forge) has their own fee atop the ridiculous fee NY collects.

I chose to refuse riding in a 30 mile area where every other rider is.  Not dealing with 50 people poking along on a trail.  Prefer what is available a few miles north of the border.

Regarding 2 strokes.  They have improved since I began riding.  They can never be clean as a 4 stroke. Dont care what the manufacturer claims. If you can smell injector oil after a sled passes, the the sled is burning oil. I'm not going to bash the design, the engines are awesome and light. It's no longer something I choose to ride during a saddle bag trip

I've made a 8 trips in last 4 years back and forth over the border (RT 91, Vermont) with my sleds and no problems. Last year when I was coming back into USA, the agent wanted to know if I declared my sleds in the USA before I left and crossed into Canada. He said there is a form I should have filled out. Anybody no what this form is? Can I get it online? Can I file it online? Thanks

He was only concerned about the sled? Not the trailer or truck?  Sounds like an inexperienced agent.

If you really want to go through the trouble, the form is known as CBP 4455

Must declare and present form at US side of crossing to be valid.  Be sure to list everything including belts, accessories, gear... as it will be inspected and confirmed by an agent. Expect to add an hour on each crossing to process paperwork.  At the time I used it for test equipment,  there was no cost.   Have fun
