So what's going on ? Now I'm hearing they are grooming ?

No apparently the last pass was last Sunday ! They broke the budget and have repairs on the groomer hard to believe since we always went down mid April years pass . Fcmq has to reorganize their house !

The tremblant erea and st-donat doesn't tolerate off trail riding anymore fines if caught can be as low as $500 to $2000. ! They do have snow though and do expect 20 to 30cm on Monday and Tuesday with limited grooming until the 23 of march.

Alain up near st-donat we got very little rain it snowed most of the day yesterday and it looks like more today. Conditions are the best so far this season.

Man that snow was so soft that day up in mt-valin it was like 25c outside !

I doubt that you will be able to take off on may the 5th or 6th from the ski hill infact id say their is no way you will be able too. You will have to trailer higher up for sure.

Ive never seen clubs give up so early in the season like this ! Its been like this for the last 5 years, st-donat and club st-agathe would groom till the very end (march 31 snow permitting) Since the americans dont come up in numbers anymore clubs dont groom long into the season . A real shame for us local guys that pay for club memberships the highest in the world might i add ! :(

Glad you had a good time ! Sometimes a thaw does wonders to trails ! Smooths out the trails ! I know what you mean about the 15 sud ! During last sundays snowstorm it took me 3 hours to get home vs the 1 hour ! Still had idiots pushing me off the road in white out conditions ! Best to leave after 7pm on sundays !

I always find it great when you meet a sled comming at you and they signal the amount of sleds behind them .

Reminds me of riding near shawingan (St-Ettienne-des-Gres) to la Tuque last Feb we had no snow but that region has smooth trails. Look me up in February im not riding until we get another foot of good snow .

Looks like they dont need much snow to run in that region.

Looks like its all over for now ! No real snow in the forcast for the next 14 days ! Looks like a carbon copy of last year !

I doubt that the gas that did it the new 800's are still having problems..

St-donat /St-michel and the park were very thin before the rain now we are starting near zero. Just heard today that lac archambault in st-donat is closed as well as most water ways until further notice .

P.S. Its still fun to be out their ! Some new snow maybe on Friday will really help out !

I was told that the pimbina part will closed down as soon as the new trail opend in a month. It is a big confusing in the erea at the moment also lack of signage.

Rode a total of 165 miles on thursday Or 265 km's. Started out in st-donat at the new paking lot near the pimbina entrance in st-donat. About 15km's to the park lack of snow on that trail . Once in the park it was a 8 out of 10 towards coin lavigne but getting a bit thin . Try and avoid the trail right in front of coin lavigne going towards st-zenon its very rough and you run at least 10km on bare earth this part is being logged and should be avoided also no signage, better to take the trail a few km's before coin lavigne in the park to go towards st-zenon. Once the logging trail bacame the trail again it became much better and i can see they have much more snow towards la glaciere. Made my way back into the park and went towards Mt-Noire trails their were very good but again it seems signage is missing and some trails have been moved or are being built so a bit confusing comming out of the park towards mt-noire. Local trails outside the park are lacking big time snow like towads st-come and around st-donat. In general trails were a 6 to 7 out of 10 but we need snow and they wont hold well with holiday traffic. Perhaps towards st-zenon lac taureau they will fair better.
