  1. For sure! Ditto ditto! BIG merci! HBD! Wishing you your BEST years ahead!
  2. Happy-Happy Easter, Ramadan, Pesach, Springtime, Renewal! Cheers to sharing the best in all of us, today & every day! https://www.instagram.com/reel/CqVZrutuuXC/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY=
  3. "Breau had over 20 years of experience with the SQ." It's going to be hard for society to live with this and other law enforcement losses, first & especially for their loved ones.
  4. Gemma & Jim! HUGE MERCI! Everyone's QR ride reports are awesome & appreciated! Still, yours always have that extraordinary Goldilocks "juuussst right" element! Way to go on capturing & sharing the conditions on: trails & weather, lodging & restos, 2 & 4 legger critters, smooth & rough sailing, even reporting on the (sometimes) elusive radar golfball! It's truly about as close as one can get to riding along! Speaking of which, hats off to you two and the bond you share from all of that riding along together! A funny thought on your plentiful pics along the way, a non-QR might scroll thru your report and say "Those all look the same, big deal, trees on both sides & snow up the middle", but we're all fortunate to know better! Thanks again! Bon journay!
  5. Don't wanna hijack here, but... BIG merci! Yeah, prosthesis polymers keep getting better! Hip was done beck in '88 (35yrs?!) back when non-cemented was new! So 3rd revision was the charm! Still gotta get the shoulders done once the knee is spiffy. Rotator cuffs are fine, so I could ROCK a wheelchair, just not at this time! And getting back to the topic: We once saw 2 guys wobbling out of Cabane Chez Hill with their arms locked, carring a 3rd guy out between them like a king, and they slung the 3rd guy onto his sled! Thought they were just feeling their beers & treating the dude for his birthday or something. But as they peeled off, we saw a wheelchair hooked on to the back of his sled! Grandé inspiration! And speaking of birthdays!... ¡Feliz Cumpleaños! Happy 60th Poltodoo! Rock n Roll class of '63!
  6. Yeah, armchair-rider this season! All good over here though thanks! Since we got retired I’ve been keeping the sawbones-docs & physical-terrorists busy! And Mrs. PLAYHARD is THE BEST cheerleader! Kinda funny too, when people who don’t know my ortho history hear that I’ve gotten into “body work” since retirement, they think I’m talking about cars! For this winter's chapter, I've got a fantastic new knee in a horrible old leg, and they're slow to play nice together! But TABERNAK, I put this poor limb through so much over the years, been busted and repaired a couple/few times, so it’s only fair that it pushed back! Looking forward! Thanks again! Woo hoo! (Oh, about Aruba, I need to close this chapter first, then DEFINITELY some One Happy Island rehab!)
  7. Nuthin in the world like a PQ blue sky!
  8. Like they used to say on MTV Cribs: "THIS is where the magic happens!"...
  9. Riddle me this Batman: What do old lake-house-folgies do when the AARP junk-mailers start arriving?... We're saying b'bye to the 21' Yammi & ordered a kush Harris Solstice triple-pontooner of course! And life got in the way & squished QR'ing this season, so part of the off-season(s) will be be easier to tolerate by casting these on the big-screen & cranking the soundbar for the vids (thanks again Kri & Alain)!... Looking forward!
  10. I've got the same question, but about the world in general?... Anyone?... Crud. Good time to keep the faith, in the world in general, not easy for sure. We know who Jacques & Co. are deep down, so cheers to hoping he & the crew pull thru & stick with being themselves.
  11. For REALLY-REAL! Thank you thank you! Excellent armchair-therapy!
  12. Ditto! Ditto! Ditto! Alain & Kri, your reports keep any of us who aren't up there at least partially sane! BIG merci!
  13. Wow. That's hard to hear, because brothers Jacques & Bernard have always been first class with us. I had a track fail just a few miles out. (Thanks again NH Moose for spotting it before it was too late!) And Jaques was just about to give us the shirt off his back. Offered us his truck and/or sled. Anything we needed so our trip wouldn't be spoiled. Sure the decor isn't "modern". But the hotel & resto hospitality was always genuine. I sure hope things get better for those guys.
  14. Hats off to you for reading & riding! And hopefully those "others" can read your tracks, AND LEARN A THING OR TWO! Thanks again for the report, it's oxygen for us armchair riders!
  15. And sometimes cool sh*t just happens...
  16. Thanks for the trail-porn & food-porn AWESOMENESS!
  17. Thanks for the entertaining reporting! Ex: I almost called the shop to inquire about those automatic wheels! Yes indeed, it's always a pleasure to take in the views vicariously, especially with those subtle bonus inclusions!...
  18. AWESOMENESS! Enjoy! Thanks for sharing!
