NHsrx701 got a reaction from MrGutz in Breaking down and having to be towed
Sooner or later it happens to all of us... we break down. Last year my crankshaft sensor failed. If you are towing a sled for a long way, this will save you
This is a flexible 54 inch roll up sled. It can be tied into the track and the sled can be towed easily. Keep in mind you need to tie the snowmbiles bumper to bumper so you can stop the broken sled. The guy who owns the sled that is pulling you will thank you for it. Even with the belt off... a free spinning track still has a lot of drag.

NHsrx701 got a reaction from jak in NH riding 2/29 and 2/30 2021
It is a two gallon gas can. I used angle aluminum riveted into the tunnel and the back piece bolted through the Bumper. Most of the time they are empty but when we use them we will ride about 40 miles and then empty them. I also carry a vinyl hose as a just in case.... the trick with the hose is also carry a coat hanger that has been cut so you can put the steel coat hanger in the vinyl tube and keep the tube straight to pull gas out of the other sled.
