  1. last march I was stopped at a club checkpoint, one person in our group had no mirror and was told he should install one before he gets a ticket. Three days later we were stopped by provincial police on sleds, they were checking vin numbers and made no mention of mirrors.
  2. Pullinfront, nice pics, this area is one of my favorites trail 55 is usually pretty good.
  3. I sure miss the exchange rates of the early and mid eighties.I was purchasing sleds at a pretty fair discount.Back then I would hear it's too expensive to travel in the states , now the equal dollar hurts the candian economy because there is less incentive for american companies . Can't win I guess. btw I recently got my ski-doo accessories catalog and the U.S./CDN. exchange seemed a little unfair. :(
  4. two hotels in mt. st. pierre and it seems i picked the wrong one. (au Delice was o.k.)but my favorite is Le francis in new richmond.manoir lac etchimin is not so bad either.
  5. looks like le relais at lac du repos. a lot of nicely mounted animals including a wolverine.
  6. I'm trying to hide this thread from my wife!!!
  7. hope the track stand does'nt kick out!!!
  8. Bonjour Groomer, I heard the same thing about that trail (scenery is beautiful) and also from Murdochville to I think it's Grand Vallee. I was just curious if it is groomed on a regular basis. As far as the snow-x in Amqui nothing set in stone yet, will know more in october. btw: your moose look pretty good but would look very good with salt and pepper..
  9. Groomer, happy to see your pics. I'll be back this winter to do the 595 and 597.Not quite sure when, I'm waiting to see if there will be a sno-x-race in Amqui. smclelan, nice pic. from top of mt. st. pierre. are you familliar with the yellow trails between 595&597?? are they worth checking out? Thanx.
