  1. Anyone know the distance & time? and which trail might be preferred at this time of year? Thanks Mike
  2. Anyone know if trails from Saint Raymond going north are still good. I know some areas getting rain Thursday Failing which is there hotel/motel in L'Etape? Just trying to minimize the black trail for one last run. Thanks Mike

  4. Keep the updates coming I'm heading down Thursday, thinking we will trailer to Rimuski instead of RDL as fields etc between will likely be deteriorating but please post when you can. Thanks Mike
  5. One think I like about many of the Fords is the door keypad. My buddy will always leave them in the truck and lock it. In case of emergency anyone can open with the key pad.
  6. Thanks for the report. We left saturday from Mt Pellier and up through Minerie? To Mt Laurier. Way there was ok with both rail lines good Way back the traffic was taking its toll on the snow. Still amazed at what they have done with the lack of snow. Hoping to try abitibi this weekend.
  7. Was riding in Duhamel area today and talked with a patrol who is also the boss of this club and he said a fellow from Embrun had either received a warning or ticket last week. He's not happy about this. He feels some police that are by the book will enforce and others will look the other way.
  8. Thanks for the info guys. I like the ferry idea and doing an orange trail as well. . Will make sure I take the right one.
  9. Im on a beach in Cucacao but my buddy emailed me this am to say he had to come back. All the places were telling him to get back while he could before the rain. I was hoping withe the higher elevations this would be spared.
  10. I would like to venture east on the 3 towards Baie Comeau. Looking for some insight on this route. What tgpe of trails and distance expectations. We enjoy riding and 300 miles a day for Quebec trails in general is fine with us. Any must see stops or tips on where to stay would be helpful as well. Im assuming much of this is remote and could be more rugged and its just one way in and back the same. Thinking of mid to late february. Im assuming we will have snow lol Thanks Mike
  11. I really like the weekend view. That's like instant trails
  12. OK, So I assume you're not a motivational speaker in your job, eh Thanks
  13. Nice ride for sure. Demo'd one at its like being on the couch. Great package. Happy Trails
  14. When I was at the show in Toronto the Gaspe booth said the map is not coming as we know it. They developed the booklet that Steve mentioned with the trails, routes etc. I like Steve think its a great publication with a lot if info. Frankly I don't think many of us on the site need a map to get around the Gaspe. Mike
  15. I see then still available new. Loiselle In Embrun has there open house this weekend. Usually they have spin the wheel for a discount.
  16. got some scratchers and lots of maps Guy had a new device that allows you to connect your scratchers to the ski's. Curious to see how that works or makes your steering heavy and erratic Still need permits.
  17. Great news Any word of the new proposed trails going north yet?
  18. That's not a Montreal Cougar, no make up or heels, that how you distinguish, so I'm told
  19. I can only speculate that it will be late summer before more is heard. Given how quiet the site's been lately I think every one is out boating & biking.
  20. Well I wasn't going to let a few days of pouring rain discourage me about one more ride. I knew there was still snow up north. Trailered up to St Ann du Lac, just above Mt Laurier as it the closest area for me. Lady at the diner though we were nuts when we checked in. Sunday morning breakfast crowd was more warming to our plans. We decided to stay off the lake and trailer straight to the trail. There was snow! Rode the 13 to Notawissi and they served us a refreshing beverage for a sunny day and we topped up the gas. Trails were a bit thin and some run offs starting and more icy creating a bit of over heat. Once the sun warmed up about 10;30 it was all good. Rode from their to the fer a cheval. Went in for gas and water. That's all they would sell. Trails were 9/10. It was like they were groomed just before closing. We were pumped. Not a soul any where to be found. The trails were ours. We couldn't have scripted a better last run. I'm sure even with the sunny days this week you could ride but most of the establishments are closed and no one will be around. A few shots of our day. It will be a long summer. Hope every one has a great summer. Mike
  21. Thanks Groomer for all the updates this winter. I know we will see & hear from you over the summer. Mike
  22. Greetings Groomer. Hope you had a great Easter and plenty of Rouge! Looking to see if your done grooming and what the real world outlook for this weekend is for potential riding areas in the Gaspe. When you have a moment please give us a post and pic's. Thanks Mike
  23. Thanks for the report. Any word on when they finish up grooming for the season? Was hoping mid April if its still a go. Mike
