  1. I just sent along my information for 3 Permits. I gave you my Visa number as well. I hope this little bit helps your club. Don't buy too much wine with the Visa number Hehehe
  2. Glad to see you joined us. A great place for knowledge about Quebec Riding.
  3. WOW!! Thta is great real snow pictures from this year!! I won't be long now and I will be Gaspesie bound!! My first run of the year is always a 3-4 day weekend in the Gaspesie Region, just to blow the cobwebs out.
  4. Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends. Hope you have a fantastic day. Try not to eat toooo much turkey!!
  5. Click on the link for the map then clic on relay and it will show up for you. A neet feature. It also will show Kilometer 31 etc...
  6. machmxz. It is too bad how things unfolded for you. However after 12yrs I don't think I would stop because of one bad expereince. I stood in the window of the HI in Jonquierre and watched a guy steal a buddies sled. The police didn't seem to care nor did the HI. Unfortuneatly these are some of the risks of snowmobiling. Don't let one bad epsoide stop you from sledding in the best snowmobile region in North America.
  7. Thanks Max. I will be doing that loop this winter for sure.
  8. The International Snowmobilers Manufacturers Association (ISMA) says the average rider puts on 1300 mile per year. There are not many average riders on this board I don't think  . The last three seasons my annual mileage has increased by 8-900 miles per year, 07-3600 miles, 08 4500 miles, and 09 5200 miles. This year I would like to see a similar increase and maybe hit the 6000 mile mark. Does anyone else have a mileage target in the plan for this season?
  9. Alright you two!! Maybe I have a time machine and I have been to the future and taken a picture of what it will look like and brought it back....You never thought of that did you? Or maybe it was the beer...
  10. Listen closely everyone!! Don't go on message boards drink beer, and make posts at the same time. Good eye grumpy
  11. December 28 2009 Gaspesie Region, just west of Ste Anne Des Monts. It is coming, have patience!!
  12. I think that was an alcohol related event. Especially when we were sitting on the bus that wasn't going to move for 4 hours!
  13. I think I recognize that place, it is in Northern British Columbia isn't it??
  14. Seeing all those old sleds brings back memories. I started sledding back in 1969 on a 1967 Snow Cruiser, it was as fast as a D6 and almost as heavy
  15. OMG!! I knew you were a BRP fan Scorpionbowl but this is going too far! I be you even have BRP underwear!! LOL
  16. This is what Groomer looked like when he took that picture!! LOL
  17. The bus is in the Gaspesie Region, it is found between the St Paulin Clubhouse and Ste Anne Des Monts on the TQ 5. That picture was taken New Years Day 2009. Gotta Love Early Snow!!
  18. There are almost as many pictures taken here as at the Rock in Perce!!
  19. Yes it was a long ways, BUT I was looking! Here is a stand of mature 80 yr old Black Spruce. (not far from the Circle) Maybe a little scattered, and the cost of trucking it to the mill could be high. LOL
  20. Glad to see you are selling permits again this season Groomer. I hope lots of QuebecRider members support your club.
  21. LOL That was taken 40 miles south of the Arctic Circle in the Yukon. It was taken this past August. Looked like a pile of rocks like in your picture.
  22. I agree 100%, even though it is short only 65 miles. this is likely my favorite trail in all of PQ. :D
