Parking in Maniwaki Friday riding to Mekoos. We have been watching the weather and recent snow, riding should be ok. Lots of daylight and cool but not below 0 are the best part of March riding.

Mid Range got a reaction from doonali in How are the trails around Maniwaki?
Well...trails were excellent saturday. 13 then 322(eagle forest, zec brascoupé-Désert area) up to the classic restaurant then 63 to maniwaki. Lots of snow in the classic area. No big mileage but trails were in top shape. More snow expected this coming week. Btw march is march, getting in and out of town is a challenge so are road shoulders.

Was on that trail yesterday too. It was a nice trail and very little traffic.

Saturday was one of the best riding days I've had this winter. Great temps and awesome trails. Left from Ste Anne du Lac and went to Balbuzard.
Snowed over night and ruined everything Sunday. Was heavy snow and with the traffic a mogul course was set up quickly. Quebec spring break I believe this week so riders could see more than usual, just an FYI
Thanks for the pics and update.

Next year guys...this winter wasn't a good one in my area. Pic from today on 322 near Grand-Remous.

Despite the mild weather which make trails soft, trails are in good shape specially north of ste-anne du lac. Hats off to Piteman and Alliance du nord SC. Everything was freshly groomed. Central was packed friday nite with a "chansonnier". Still some good riding in the upper gatineau and upper laurentians.
