    First real ride of this season . We started at La  Glaciere this morning rode to the Marineau in Mattiwin for lunch and back .  Pretty good for December with about 200 miles on the clock for the day .  a nice balmy -7° on return to the truck  !

    Phoned them this afternoon, here's what they told me:  The sawmill will remain in operation and they will sell gas.  They will stop processing wood sometime in february and at that point it will be the security guard that will sell the gas to snowmobilers...

    Tomorrow we are heading towards l 'ascension-depatepedia Que. , we will so how close we get, as far as snow cover, not sure if we have snow cover enough over there. We will pack a little extra fuel.
