groomer Posted July 6, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 6, 2014 i stayed on logging down to the mill,so i went to check windmills!! ...a little bit of geography !!! p-1...logging road half a mile back....(stop sign)...tq 5 is in the middle on the right..first hill.. p-2 .....lac saumon on top with a bit of matapedia river...middle right..st alexandre p-3...farm area from the middle to right..lake and up for st alexandre!!..very-very windy there..stayed in the truck... p-4..road for ste marguerite...top of field...to the right... p-5.....ste marguerite about 2 miles in straight line to the right....the windmills at the back...logging road is just on the other side!!!...at the '' 4 miles ''... p-6...long straight west of ste marguerite...a bit lower than middle of pic..village is about 2 miles on the left!! p-7...ste marguerite...long straight in the middle... p-8...that thing in the middle left...old tq 5 was there before...back in the early 00...long straight is just up 1 mile..right to left!! p-9...logging road ,half a mile back...tq 5 is just on the right... p-10 ...half mile before logging road...looking toward shortcut!!! p-11....ste florence/ road 132 ... lower than field..down the valley !! p-12...at the ''stop sign ''...logging road !! jean-guy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We will get your rain tomorrow. hi smclelan !!! rain coat ????? way too warm to wear a rain coat !!....good only for 15 c and lower !!! i won t endure it 5 mins...a good t-shirt with a good shirt that absorb water ...good enough... in 24 years of work with my boss..i ve seen tons of rain..don t think i missed 2 days of work...and i know many guys in the rainy day ..they are already at the ''ballerines !!...make the rain your best friend...all between the 2 ears !! normally at 8 c...in the rain ..its cold...must keep moving... today has been the toughest one....tons of humidity ...cloudy in the morning sunshine in the afternoon..no air to breathe...tough one...25c when i came back... tons and tons of mosquitos..black flies...deer flies...and the tiny ones...so small ..hard to see them ..they were sticking in my face all day.. old pic... jean-guy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Is the growing season long enought ? hi artsled !!! i don t think i ever seen corn around here...im not a farmer...but i guess you must go more west ,...rdl and up.. few pics from last week end...only 4 moose..2 on my way up friday ...and mom + kid..last saturday ... took a ride saturday on the trail i use to cut fee downed trees... the second pic with lake....at the gathering ...we rode just below clearcut...and the little bit of plowed road.....about 3 miles on the right !! last 2 weeks...real tough at work ...hot and humid!!!...not much air to breathe !!! jean-guy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Here is hope for an early winter! hi whaler !!! great to hear from you !!! thx for comments !!!...i could make good money i guess !!! i don t believe in santa claus...but i saw a bees nest about 3 weeks ago...about 28' feet in the tree...lets wait !!! still very quiet with moose...only one saturday night...when i saw him...he was already in 5 th gear...no pics.. river is causapscal river..about 20 mins ride with 4w from camp.....on the last pic...right side of river..back in the old days..there was a camp there for guardian to avoid poaching on the river... at the gathering we used the little bridge.....roughly 7 miles from camp... lake is lake casault...last week end for fishing... sorry artsled...can t figure out what you mean...worked monday and yesterday in heavy rain ..very tired..not much imagination !!! don t mind the rain at all...but a lot more tired at the end of day and next morning !!! jean-guy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
