Can anyone please explain?

The sign is not an upside down bridge. It’s warning you that there is a ravine or drainage or culvert crossing. A dip in trail. 

The top sign is telling you trail narrows and the bottom sign is letting you know outside where trail narrows is danger. In form of a ditch.

make sense?

Some stuff out there just makes ya go hmmm...

Bet they drove you crazy looking for the up coming tunnel.😁😁😁

They make more sense than the sign I saw twice this winter on different trails, “ vos phares “. Means “your lights” huh, last time I looked they are always on.🤔
