Great video and write up, thanks for taking us along. Sad to hear about the trail closure, but I understand why the owner would close the trail. Only takes 1 to ruin it for many.

I've been coming to Quebec since 1995 and believe me there is no comparison. Don't get me wrong the UP can be good, but that is going to be mid-week riding. A lot of times in the UP to get from point A to point B you only have 1 trail that will take you there, in Quebec you might have 4, 5 or more options, makes a big difference. In Quebec, even on the weekends, if you want to get out away from the crowds you can, in Michigan you can't. Haven't rode in Michigan on the weekends in many years and have no plans to. These last few years I've been doing most of my riding in the Lac St. Jean area. It's a 14 hour drive and many liters of fuel and it's worth every bit of it.

Gowser thanks for posting this. I met Jim many years ago on my way to Quebec. I always made it point to stop when I was going to Quebec and coming home. His knowledge and passion for snowmobiling was off the charts. I could call him anytime and he could always answer my questions. I also have sent a response to BRP. Please keep us informed on any updates.

Glad to see you are back home safely. As always, enjoyed spending time with you and everybody that comes to the Delta. Only downside to staying at the Delta.......time flies by, just a blur. But like anything in life, our memories will get us through till the next time....and look at that, the good Lord willing, were already less than a year away till the next time. Take care Dave .

Back in Michigan after the 16 hour drive, but worth every mile to ride the world class trails of Quebec. I had the wonderful opportunity to visit or ride with folks from New Hampshire, Ohio, New York, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Ottawa, England and of course Quebec. Great friends and great times, lifetime memories for sure. A very special thank you to all the groomer operators and volunteers and others who give of their time so we can enjoy this sport. It's hard to fathom what it takes to put a trail system like this together, but every year it just seems to get better. Again thanks! Only downside to this sport is you just can't get enough. I rode 8 days, 1600 miles, have been home less than 24 hours and all I want to do is get out on that sled and ride. Everybody enjoy the rest of winter and be safe out there. Dave
