  1. Maybe we will see you out there, we will be at Trout lake Monday night, Leaving now
  2. Sounds like you had a great trip, we will be on the 23 West so maybe we'll pass ya on our way out. Watch out for Eric coming at ya like a bullett!
  3. So Tom, how was that section between Balbuzard and Clova. We are leaving at 5am to the Escapade, if your trucks there maybe we'll see ya. We plan on saddleing up and taking off by 3pm
  4. Anybody know a trailside nail salon, thinking of getting my nails done while I'm up this coming week, maybe a pedicure! LOL!
  5. Awesome JG, Amazing how you go from nothing to too much. At least it's not boring anymore! Maybe we will make it out there mid March after all. We will be in QC on Saturday for the week headed West.
  6. Maybe BRP 2 strokes but the 1200 has been bulletproof.
  7. Make a sled that lasts, you see what you put your poor sled through? LOL!
  8. What's with all the ballet's burning down? Must be the work of WAD! A division of MAD!
  9. Looking good Tom! Too bad we will miss you by a week. If you can, see if you can get someone to fix that stretch between Clova and balbuzzard before we get there next week EH!
  10. Wow, Awesome trip, takes alot of time to put up a report like that, much appreciated. We will be out that way a week from Sat.
  11. My wife rode in the beginning also, she doesn't like the cold so I don't push the issue. So now when I leave for QC she's happier going out to dinner every night I'm gone with my youngest daughter. I think it cost me more leaving her home! Plus she gets 10 days in Negril every April. That she enjoys alot more then the cold.
  12. Didn't mean for you to take it the wrong way, I just meant I've never seen a sled so loaded up! I must pack to lite!
  13. I prefer to go Eastbound to Chibog, that way you don't have to get on the railbed in the am at -40 And holy crap GT I don't think I've ever seen so much stuff on a sled! Hopefully there's a fully stocked bar in there also LOL! Stay off the lakes!
  14. We had to leave our buddy in parent when he blew his motor, it was a Super Bowl sunday he said the bar was open all night, he woke up in the morning the door to his room was wide open and about 4' of snow in his room on the floor, the door blew open from the wind and snow. When we met up with him 2 days later he said he wanted to move to parent! Can't be that bad, Something about the waitress!
  15. Iceman, Are there any places in Shawinigan to rent a sled. My buddy rented one a few years back when we stayed at Richards place. Can't remember the name.
  16. You got that right, I got home from snowplowing at 11am. My daughter and 4 friends wher waiting to ride. That sled hasn't been started in 2 years, I was worried, some starter fluid, bingo fired up and ran great on 2 year old premixed fuel. Priceless! So Phil the next trip is coming up E-tec or jag?
  17. I'd put my money on the Cat then Phils for a 1450 mile loop! Phils gonna buy it and put his tour buddy on it, too small of a tank for touring. No room for saddle bags, gotta pack light, maybe a couple pairs of undies in the coat and your good to go! You would have to give him a 2 hour head start each morning to be fair!
  18. Haha, It's the most dependable sled i've owned! Too bad the new sleds don't run like this. Tom there is a reggy from 1989 on it!
  19. Broke out the old 79' Jag, original owner and never an ounce of maintenance or work done. Just starts and runs every time! Could be Phils replacement sled! The kids out today tubing the easy way!
  20. I don't think you'll ever be off the hook!
