  1. I know someone whose imported a couple of sleds. Its easy if you prepare for it. Make sure you get a clean recall notice from your dealer before you bring it up. RIV paperwork can be a pain without it.
  2. So, thats what the rest area looks like from a car! Couldn't figure out why it looked different... Hope the machine is easily repairable.
  3. Not good. Hope its repairable. Thanks for the pictures, looking forward to seeing more!
  4. Sorry everyone, I'm out. Had a couple of problems beyond my ability to control and have to postpone my ride for another time.
  5. With it being warm with rain this weekend, I was concerned all the snow would melt Good to see it getting cold again.
  6. Went through my files and found some literature from him and have confirmed the Yamaha Jim to be correct. Site used to be snowtours.com Been on 1 tour with NE Bob as a noob and had no issues with his guidance. He offered a good tour and taught me alot during the ride. Had a great time...up to the point where I blew my engine. Luckily, was able to get back to the hotel after a 90 mile tow through the pipeline trail. Good times. Guess I could learn something from his 4x4 riding school...
  7. Wow. Can't believe how nice the trails look. Looking forward to heading up. Thanks for the pictures.
  8. Sickning. Words can't describe my feelings about this. Playhard, thank you for your post. Sad to see the loss of those children.
  9. All I can say is WOW. can't wait to head up and ride... Trailblazer, I feel your pain. Nice green lawn and lots of water here. Maybe time to ride the quad ... pretending its on snow
  10. Good to hear it worked. Something tells me the infected files were produced by a rival forum...
  11. Nice ride and pictures. Thanks for posting! Definitely want to do something like this next summer. I've seen them out on the trails. Doubt you can easily get 2 to pass in opposite directions with the narrow trails
  12. I've heard of tricks used to get a lower price...but picking up a sled naked has got to top the list. Had that been me, I would have been thrown out... On the other hand, I've learned from experience a dozen or so apple cider doughnuts always helps...
  13. No real solution, but a number of ideas to help clear the problem. I run Firefox on Windows 2000 (yea, I know...too lazy to upgrade) with little issues with site logins. Also check windows firewall. Disable it and install zonealarm. I have used both of the programs listed below and am happy with the outcome. This should clear up any junk in your machine. As stated above, remove or disable any popup blockers. clean out your cache, and temporary internet files (Download TFC by OldTimer http://oldtimer.geekstogo.com/TFC.exe to your desktop - NOTE THIS PROGRAM DELETES TEMPORARY FILES) and do the following: Please double-click TFC.exe to run it. (Note: If you are running on Vista or 7, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator). It will close all programs when run, so make sure you have saved all your work before you begin. Click the Start button to begin the process. Depending on how often you clean temp files, execution time should be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two. Let it run uninterrupted to completion. Once it’s finished it should reboot your machine. If it does not, please manually reboot the machine yourself to ensure a complete clean. Download and install Malwarebytes antimalware http://download.cnet...4-10804572.html and do the following: Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application. Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, then click Finish. If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version. Once the program has loaded, select “Perform Quick Scan“, then click Scan. The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient. When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results. Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected. When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. If you are prompted to restart, please allow it to restart your computer. Failure to do this, will cause the infection to still be active on the computer.
  14. Used to ride PSF, Beartown and Tolland a number of times each season with groups from Western Mass ATV and NorthEast ATVers. The number of rides dropped as work and other priorities took over. Stopped renewing after half of Pittsfield was shut down. St Hubert at Complexe Desjardins has my vote. Drinks and eyecandy much better Too bad I don't have any upcoming projects in the area.
  15. Guess its time to register in MA and plan a day for a summer ATV ride?? Any interest from the members in the 'area'? I wouldn't mind riding in Beartown again.
  16. Nice pictures from the group. Keep up the good work Had about an inch of snow from the other week, wasn't around long enough for pictures or riding. Maybe next time...
  17. That looks like my Quad's frame after riding Pittsfield one too many times...
  18. What operating system do you use? Windows XP has an image re-size application (download from Microsoft - free). You could download a photo editor, GIMP (freely available) which allows rezising as well as a number of other options. What part of Western MA are you from?
  19. Hello Jean-Guy, Sorry for confusing the two. The one I was referring to is Jean-Guy de l'ouest, or Trailblazer. Was it me or did this thread disappear for a couple of days?
  20. Spent alot of time riding Pittsfield. Over the course of time, I must have ridden every trail in the park, including the dead ends. Found a redneck style shooting range on a side trail off of the West Street trail. Wonder how much of the park is still closed off and when its expected (if ever) to open again. Not sure if this was posted elsewhere, but figured I'd add to the fall pictures with a ride on Mt Laurier. Thanks to Jean-Guy for the picture. Will try to get a few more this weekend from the track.
  21. Starting to feel the pressure here. Long lines at the pump by my office. Not too bad at home, but expect my local station will run out as people spread out to get fuel. I'm making plans on working from home next week. To make matters worse, another storm is in the works for early next week... When is the world supposed to end?
