  1. Do we need to send Trump to weed out the BS and get a deal cut? For some reason I don't think he likes the cold... haha
  2. Or maybe there was more track spinning than you think while you were stuck??? haha
  3. Especially for us who purchased year passes already...
  4. I have two office locations I work between in northern VA and Upstate NY. Keep my sled in NY
  5. They will need sleds for when Trump goes to visit Putin....
  6. At least its still made/owned in the USA and not China or something... Textron based out of RI Cat is due for some big changes so it will be fun to see what they are up to... They did release that they are coming out with the new 800 Ctec with improved performance and gas mileage which was long overdue...
  7. This storm will be icing on the cake for these trails. We have a trip scheduled up here in couple weeks.
  8. Agree, we will stop 30-50 miles on long rides, sometimes every 15 on the more scenic area rides... zeusand, I see your from New Canaan.. I just designed the new turf field at Dunning Stadium. Go Rams!! Beautiful Town you live in.... Ride safe
  9. Just think if you had helmet communicators.... Would have saved a lot of BS... I would ride without GPS before riding without communicators.
  10. Good push! How many 5hr Energy drinks were factored in to that drive? I have been there and its nice to have a buddy that rides just as hard as you do!!
  11. Back in action!! Sure did take them a while they must be crazy busy!!
  12. Enjoy Shane! I am 36 and still enjoy every ride with my dad. We put on just about every mile together every year as we are each others favorite riding partners!!! We often sit and crack up about all the fun rides and crazy moments over the years. Only difference now I like to pay for everything.. Your son will forever remember these moments and all the fun rides through the years, not to mention all the sleds and working on them together. Keep in touch! Ride safe!
  13. towing, you and krikri are an awesome team. Always enjoy your reports (especially the pics)!
  14. 421 miles is epic for sure!! Sounds like he needs to have his clutch aligned?
  15. Hows the Pus**? Must be a cat?
  16. just what would have happened if the Lukes weren't there. First to groom the trial or the 6.8 miles would have felt like 20. Then for the other luke to be there when you needed that sled the most... And for Jim to get stuck he must have been ready to start a fire and wait out the night... Imagine if Jim were alone?? Like the guy on the other thread all by himself in the middle of nowhere...
  17. Looks like trails are in good shape! Better than breaking through a foot of fresh snow all day
  18. Have a safe trip, thanks for posting conditions. Will be up that way in few weeks
  19. Try the fuel pump, it may say it has enough pressure but my sled had similar issue and fuel pump would not get to the right pressure to spray the fuel through the rail..
  20. Enjoy the new rig Phil!! Ride safe
  21. Thats what its all about! Enjoy the adventure, ride safe! Thanks for the pics
  22. Awesome times! You staying dry riding in all that snow? I would love to see your path on a map as I am not as familiar with this area up here! Very sweet for sure! Duck your head low for those trees and let off the gas a touch.., haha
  23. Masse is usually open till 11-12 or later... We rolled in one night truck and trailer at 11:00 and they were very helpful... Cant beat the ability to keep your sled in a heated locked garage at night...
  24. We run the Sena 20s communicator systems between my father and I who ride seperate sleds. They work good for wide open areas for about maybe 1500ft if hill to hill. In the woods they are max 1000ft on straight aways with no interference and with curves and trees the max range is about 500-800ft. The battery works good in the cold as we tested last year in -10 deg F weather however we would take them off and warm them up when we stopped every few hours which made a big difference. When you get disconnected they reconnect automatically or easy with the touch of the big button on the side. We will not ever run without them... My father runs behind my 99% of the time so if he slows up, has an issue with sled or helmet, needs to warm up, needs to get gas or food, gets stuck, or wants to head back its immediately known rather than waiting till the next stop to talk or possibly looking back and not seeing him there.. Then you pull over to wait for him, then you turn around and try to backtrack to find him and not know what happened is a scary feeling. The communicators reduce the need to turn around all the time to check on him. We change them between full face and open face depending on the temps and it takes about two minutes to do. Between the communicators, ice scratchers and GPS yew will never leave any of these at home again after having them...
