I just found that on skidoo site. it appears alot longer in the back. what's the zipper for in the front heat control? I know with my oxygen helmet above 20 degrees I can't snap the shield closed gets way to hot.

Blueblood, you have managed to really see the best of Maine Are you still in Maine.? I am back in Millinocket for a week. I am really liking the 3 hour ride to get here vs. 6 1/2 hrs. trip to RDL. And I am loving the cheap prices I am paying for dinner each night.
During my week this trip there will be five QuebecRiders in Millinocket. I actually thought there would be many posting they are riding in Maine. Apparently some must be sitting out the winter. Riding today was 5 stars, went to WildWood Cabins.
mike
Mike I am here for atleast one more week maybe two. 1700 miles in Maine this year so far. I'm in Presque isle at the Hampton right now headed back to Millinocket today to neoc. Maine is nice but quebec is better in my view. took me 11 hours to drive here which is about the same to RDL.

Blueblood, hope you dont mind us posting in your thread. Anyways today was the best day so far. Left Madawaska on fresh groomed trails, they never ended all the way to Ivey’s Motor Lodge in Houlton. 145 easy miles. Very nice place. Went thru Lavertue, Hamlin, Limestone, Fort Fairfield, late lunch in Mars Hill. Most trails were highway speed
snobeeler go right ahead and post all u want. those trails north look awsome. I was at libbys camps yesterday that loop up over 85 reminds me of quebec.

Blueblood other than the week in February that we go to Quebec I ride out of the Millinocket area every weekend the trails in that area are mostly on roads it’s a very nice area to ride several different loop options you can do. The 5 years that we’ve been going to Quebec we’ve stayed either at the Delta or the universal and rode those areas are the trails in the Millinocket area compatible to those I will say some are very close. All the clubs in that area do a great job with the trails but I can almost guarantee you by the end of the day you’re going to encounter some beat up trails and your going to see a lot more sled traffic than you would during the day in Quebec especially on the weekend. Plus it’s a little more busier in that area because of the Canadian border situation. The snow situation in the area is pretty good and getting better each day with a few chances of storms in the next week. It’s pretty hard to compete with the Quebec trail system but I can’t see any reason why you won’t enjoy riding this area enjoy!
plan is to ride big loops Monday threw Friday. with Saturday and Sunday run short local rips to recover lol. Monday will probably be a late start with the game on.

I feel some of this problem comes from the manufacturer and tv shows, magazines promoting off trail. You buy a trail permit to ride the trail buy a trail sled. if you want to play off trail find a place where it's allowed. not every field is government land to play on. we deal with this in ny and have lost many great sections of trail from it. when it's rerouted it seems to have more road side ☹.
