Did your dealer give you an estimated date? Dealer called me last week and mine are supposed to ship between 11/17 and 11/23!

They usually cannot predict 3 or 4 days ahead correctly!

That says it all! I will take 2 trail passes.

Turns out that weekend I will be towing the 5th wheel up that direction for a weekend of drinking and sitting by the fire doing nothing. Saturday morning I may have to drive another hour or so and stop by. I have not been there for a few years.

I watched that for the 1st time about 5 years ago. I watch it several times a year late fall/early winter to really get me in the mood.

Yes, I also received an e-mail from FCMQ confirming these dates. Looks like I will not be up that weekend anyway. The 2 guys I was going to bring up chickened out. I think they are afraid to leave the states. They would rather ride Tug Hill.

Any one know what week end It will be in 2014? I am trying to get 2 co workers to go up and I think that I have one of them convinced. I need to find the date so I can make sure there are no conflicts with the saddlebag trips that I am planning. I did not see anything on the FCMQ website.

I thought this was the year I could make the gathering. There is one weekend in all of Jan & Feb that I cannot come up and that is the one. I will probably be up the week before.

Cabela,s is 20 minutes from my house, Candy's is right across the highway from Tom Schaeffers RV & the TruValue is Kuzans hardware. Yep you were pretty close! I was thinking 3rd or 4th week of Feb. would be a good week for the gathering

Or you could stay until March! That would also save on airline tickets. Jan. 10th is a little early snow depth and connectivity could be a problem that early, unless they get dumped on early like last year.

I am looking on heading west 2X next winter and I usually make a stop in Clova anyway. I will have to wait and see how the dates work out.

I cant keep up. Ordered 2 new Gades. I'm trying to save up for a Spyder and now after this you are going to make me want to go out and buy some quads! Nice report and pics. I think that is something I just might be interested in.

Great news for sure and about 5 months earlier than I thought it would happen.

In the end I feel the same as rmk. This will be settled, permits will be sold (at a slightly higher price) and trails will be groomed when the snow falls again. 13K for a sled what is a few hundred for a trail permit. Although it will certainly have a negative affect trying to get new visitors to spend that much cash to ride.

The cost of the trail pass is not my issue. My issue is will we be able to ride our 2014 sleds we just ordered in quebec next winter. After all I bought them just to ride in Quebec. I would have kept my 2012's if I were only going to ride states side.

How would this possibly benefit these clubs if they remain closed and they do not maintain there trails. I know when it is time to buy my season pass I will NOT purchase from a club that will not groom there trails. Why would I or any of you do that. I would hope they are doing this at this time of year to try and make something happen now and not later. Let us all just hope this is all straightened out by December. Thanks iceman and keep us updated when you hear any new information.

I ve been trying 2 get 2 co workers to go up. I think I have one of them convinced the other I am not so sure. I told them ride free week end. I drive we split fuel and hotel and ride. If they dont like it at least they can say they tried it and they never have to go again. We will see. We have not rode south of the border in 4 years now and really have no reason too. Nice report and slide show. I will have to figure out how that works. I put out a post this year to find a riding partner to go with my wife and myself and found one. We had a good time a made a new friend.
