  1. only on line...and dealers in the states are pissed ...they are not offering that discount at the dealer...I was at the dealer in New Hampshire today
  2. Great report...I always love seeing that sign welcoming us to Quebec...hope people can stay on the trail...and that message is always on display
  3. 100 Lacs… never let me down … nice place… they get it there
  4. Great ride...and absolutely one of the best parts of riding Quebec has always been the hospitality and camaraderie at days end over dinner and drink....this current situation is a real issue...all government created...rest assured these idiots who won't work are going to wake up one day and realize they have nothing in their wallet but a bunch of broken political promises...and I will never feel bad for them. Great report!!
  5. And it's amazing how far they have come there in the last 10 years
  6. Nice ride last time I did it a few weeks before covid shut down...big drifts and very windy half way across started thinking this was a mistake...it's a great adventure...but I'm not doing it alone again!!
  7. Eva is a great stop and definitely has a very good restaurant...very popular dining spot for locals as well.
  8. After 4 decades we know what works… it’s a unique opportunity with a decent off season brook trout fishing operation with customers, and not a lot of money to buy it… with the right group… completely doable
  9. Like a private sportsmans club
  10. Very interesting idea.. that location has an enormous potential… and that would really be an incredible idea
  11. Nicest project I have seen in a long time, and you can actually service it without taking half the sled apart… If they did a retro model with a 600 etec they would sell great, hope to see you on the trail!!
  12. I'm really hoping to read a post that says something friendly and welcoming sooner than later...everything we hear these days seems to have negative consequences for the 98 percent of us who do our best to conform and behave properly...I'm OK with enforcement when it doesn't impede folks properly going about their way...but constantly being checked or pulled over without probable cause just because you are driving by....some of these check points have a long line and 99.9 percent are just fine
  13. Our Zec… so Nancy owns this area… have a nice day… shit show for sure… and she isn’t much of a public relations director… so hunters fisherman and slender are the problem… and we will charge them to pass on OUR property…classic not in my back yard… going to take government involvement to fix this and pressure from businesses… and she isn’t trying to be a public relations director…. Intentionally
  14. Hell of a reply… we have big plans for the future…I’m not sure it’s private land… some kind of public area… but this kind of rhetoric… paying to pass on both ways??? More than a money grab for sure… more like trying to persuade you to go elsewhere… some reasonable oversight is needed here for sure… and the precedent is terrible
  15. pledges and sled stickers will not stop 5%, but sled seizures, registration confiscation and 5 year bans will do it, all this program is going to do is make everyone aware 95% of us are not the problem and do something to help prevent us from becoming the victims of there behavior...if we just sit around ...we are done.
  16. I once had a guy in my group of 7 or 8...20 years old...I was the last guy and sleds were coming at me all day on the hammer even around corners...then on the second day I noticed this clown giving everyone the closed fist that went by...I asked him what the hell he was doing that for...he said..ride on brother...he had no idea that meant...there's nobody behind me...evidently everyone else knew what it meant. That's why I ride out in the bush, were the serious riders are and no traffic.
  17. Like buried stumps and rocks, 50 miles from nowhere??
  18. Everyone should be putting a gps tracking device on their sled.., actually should come from the factory with one….can’t wait to be present when a group of riders catches one of these guys
  19. Thank you for putting this up Steve, Bob
  20. I have taken the pledge on line at bombadier
  21. just lucky, they did not have to do this...hopefully nobody screws this up...it won't take much...
  22. The time has come for all of us , in concert with outfitters , hotels, dealerships, Bombardier, clubs, and private land owners, and FCMQ, to be proactive, and require everyone to ...Take The Pledge....with Bombardier ...as a trail pass requirement...mandatory sled stickers...no pledge sticker...no gas....spelled out plain and clear ...registration revocation and fines...sled seizure...signs at hotels and stops like Repo, etc. If we don't get proactive...we all know where this is going...and reactive isn't a place we want to be...the weather is already numbering our days...we can control everything but the weather..AND TRAIL ACCESS. Ride off trail in designated areas..or be gone. If we aren't going to be proactive and sit around complaining... we will not have much of a voice when the powers to be do sit down...and we will not like the conversation on that day. We all have a lot at stake here...this is our recreation...but for many it's their livelihood...we have 3300 members here alone...it's a good place to start...look how many stickers iceman was able to distribute playing around... we need to be on front of this now...before it's too late...and that day is coming if we do nothing...my 2 cents worth, happy trails, Bob.
