Andre and Jeanie’s camp is not really a camp. It’s a full blown house with detached barn with full in law type setup above. The BEST of everything has gone into this place which Andre and Jeanie plan on retiring to in 2 years.

Andre is one day older than me. We both turn 56 on March 1st & 2nd.

Andre DOES NOT mess around with anything. Here one of his four graders at the camp (yeah right) to plow his 7km driveway 
he has 40K invested in solar panels and batteries and the solar panels are motorized and turn with the sun.

Ok....this wasn’t fair to guess for anyone so here the story goes:
heading north on the Gouin trail I finally got to the road section and see plow guy coming up the road. I wave to stop him and was happy, happy happy when he pulls up and I see the sign on the door. Wait....I know who this is. Confirmed before we even speak I see the last four digits of the phone number.  2112  (imagine that)
Now this was just a worker guy for him but I ask...”is Andre at his camp and how do I get there”  YES, YES, YES...he replies...hurry he says before he leaves.
So ...I find it 3-4 miles away. JACKPOT...he’s still there. It’s been two years since I have seen my friend Andre & Jeanie. They own the hombre du Vent cabins and an awesome ranch house rental right on the other side of the bridge across from the depanneur. In addition André has 14 employees and plows all the roads up hear in the bush for the town of La Tuque (largest city in Quebec by kilometers)
Andre tried to tell me how to come to see his cabin (yeah right) some years back by way of road from Relais 22 but the weather wasn’t cooperating and we had to bag it.
so now I’m finally here. About 5-7 miles from the Gouin.
 

Almost 9 hours to Sherbrooke yesterday when it usually takes me 6.5 if it wasn't the worst ride to Quebec I have ever had it was certainly the 2nd or third.
Heading to Mattawin now but Have to stop first and meet an old friend for the first time. 
Mother nature is playing nicer today

Day 8: Thursday Feb 10
Woke up to 28°F with 2 inches of fresh powder and snowing lightly. Can’t believe the temperatures we’re having this week! Had breakfast, saddled up the horses and pulled out at 8:30 AM. Took TQ93 & several green & orange local trails & meandered our way counterclockwise around Lac Saint-Jean. Trails were in excellent condition except for the expected TQ93 around Valinouet. Pulled into Hotel du Jardin in Saint-Felicien at 4:00 PM. Temperature was 35°F when we got here! Going to be a big temperature drop tonight so I hope all the groomers get out and make some white asphalt for tomorrow morning!

Pretty damn amazing the amount of effort put forth by the Government and their propaganda machine media to portray these Freedom Convoy folks as terrorists. 
Goes to show just how badly they feel the need to keep this charade going. 
If you believe anything said on Canadian news you need to seriously get in your basement and stay there. You will be safe. 
The government is backed into a corner and are desperate to continue the narrative as they have alot invested into this fear campaign. 
If you want to wear a mask the rest of your time on earth you are free to do just that, no one is trying to stop you. You want to continue to receive booster after booster?  Have at it it’s your choice. 
Choice and freedom is what these people are trying to fight for. Because with these mandates in place you have no choice and no choice is not freedom.

It's fun push a bit our limits sometimes!
The shadows are most of time fun to see on the videos. Sometimes very unexpected, I see them when checking back the video(like the one on St-Louis de Gonzague bridge 3rd video) but sometime impressive onsite like the one of the wind turbine you spot on the 2nd video. It was in the "bonus section" where I should not have been (wrong trail switching) when I saw it I immediately start the recording knowing it would be a great catch!
Haha!!! I'm pretty sure that it is the clubhouse club sandwich that got you that much!!! Just be careful as what you wish, remember the film bedazzled with the beautiful Elizabeth Hurley!
We missed reading your Canadians aventures here, I begin to think at a gofundme to put you back on the snow faster!
This forum with the many good ride reports is pretty much the best methadone available!  
It's not so unusual for me as a driver to ride that much miles but for my best half behind she is a trooper! She calmed down a bit but when she was younger it was terrible how she was always trying to extend our rides at the end of the days, my partners and I were trashed and she was still asking for more miles!
Thanks Biron! haha yes the carbides got a beat, I gave them a short break with the roller skis on the St-Louis de Gonzague bridge.
We discovered the ile Bizard club house on this ride, we will returned for sure.
loll! We had fun challenging ourselves on this ride. The video taken end up very nice, good stuff to share!
The weather have gone warmer in the last days and may stay mild for another couple days. We may delayed our next weekend ride on Sunday
