As smclelan said, I met with ckf today and he was able to reboot his server and get things in good shape. You can get to regional forums now and hopefully many other things are working.
We are also working on a significant upgrade to QR, so stay tuned…

🌨️ 🏔️ ⛄ On behalf of myself and the Deputy Premier and Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Geneviève Guilbault - MNA for Louis-Hébert, I am proud to announce an investment of $278,096 in the Club moto-neige La Tuque Inc. to improve infrastructure for off-highway vehicle (OHV) use and enhance safety.
With a budget of nearly $3 million, the program has supported numerous projects since its inception, including the construction of footbridges and the redevelopment of trails.
In the case of the Club latuquois, we're talking about $41,250 to repair the bridge at the Lac Vic outlet; $129,971 to replace the multifunctional footbridge at Parc des Chutes in La Tuque; and $106,875 to rebuild the bridge at Lac Gros-Louis.
The Club has enjoyed a great reputation for 55 years. Its volunteers maintain over 580 km of trails with the help of five groomers. I would like to pay tribute to the dedication of the seven-member Board of Directors and to Claude Gagnon (photo), who has been President for 12 years.
The projects that will result from this announcement will enable us to take concrete action on safety for the benefit of users of this trail network. Many thanks to the many volunteers.

Warranty doesn't mean shit. Two years ago I had a ramp in my ski doo primary clutch break. Took out spider assembly. That was costly. Took it to the dealer and service guy said should be under warranty. Went to pick it up and received a invoice for 700 plus dollars. Wasn't under warranty. It was a wear part. Gets better. They had a hard time finding a ramp? So only the broken one was replaced. Didn't understand that. Sims the other 2 should be be ready to break you would think. I called ski doo warranty department and was told it was up to the dealer and ask them to send them a letter to the warranty department who who then contact their engineering department. I than gave up hope with the dealer and ski doo. Ended up contacting a company out of the mid west and purchasing a clutch kit with new ramps, spring and all needed components. I did have a long conversation with this companies engineer and he explained to me how the clutch works and how each component works. I've rode two years with the new parts and got over 3000 miles on them and my clutch guy doesn't see any wear. So I guess it's time for a new dealer and take the discount instead of the extended warranty. As I said warranty doesn't mean shit. Oh yes I'm 74 and don't ride my sled hard.

It was rough having to ride trails this nice all day. One last hurrah for the season.
Left from the "Classic" just up past Mount Laurier. App said trail was red but shown being groomed his past week. Lets go. I will say when I pulled into the parking lot I was questioning myself but once you got off the Highway there it was. Paradise. Okay there was a small section of logging road but then it was real nice. This section took us up the Lepine Road and then over to Club Gatineau. Real nice trail. Nice leisurely lunch stop and more sledders pulling in while we were there. Original plan was to ride up to Notawissi and circle back. Well half way there it started to rain and being a softy that I am I decided we would cut it short. This was a nice 150 mile ride to close out a great season. If work wasn't so busy I would be inclined to go to Val D'or next weekend. But the bike is awaiting me now and time to change for summer.
Thanks for all who contributed this season their stories and insight. Hopefully the site will get the update over the summer and we can meet again next fall.

On our way to Pourvoirie Fer A Cheval for our night stay last week we stopped and had lunch there. Very nice place, one of the guy's asked about the accommodations. Very large dining area and, they have three rooms to stay in the main building, also have buildings on the property with rooms to stay in, the person who pumped our gas was very friendly. The sign they had on trail 33 just before you turned on to there's said 19k.

On Friday our last day, took our time. Left the Delta at 10:00 had lunch at Mont Apica where we saw about 30 snowmobiles. Mostly guys from Quebec City going to mount Apiica for lunch and then back to Quebec City. The trails on the way back today were about an eight from all the traffic but who's complaining. All in all fantastic trip 1,016 MI. With the warm up this Saturday and Sunday being in the 50s up there all the parking lots and roads will be completely bare but they're still tons of snow in the mountains. There must have been five to six feet in the mountains.

Thursday we did the Clermont Express as Saguenay Bill used to call it and went to the Auberge du Ravage for lunch. Today we passed about two dozen sleds. Trails were a ten all day again.

Here’s what I learned about our trip to Damville. You jump on the river at Lac à Jim that takes you to a local trail for about 25 km then you on a single trail for another 25km with adequate signage to get you there. If l was to do it again, l would have taken up their offer to meet us and take us in…which they offer more than once. They will take you down some road and cut across a lake that would have made it a lot easier at the end of the day. There is a warming hut 15 km in and clubhouse on a river 25 km in. I would have them meet me at the clubhouse.
