  6. Wow! so close to home, i have a chalet too in that area, Lac Gagnon on Pointe de Baptiste,. I don't do any sled trips from there but i do ride to there from home, stay the week end and ride back. Nice area to atv in too, trails are really nice, i do atv trips from there alot. Last november the club opened a trail crossing the Parc to Notre Dame de Laus, i will try it out this summer. Will be much shorter getting to Mt.Laurier that way then by old trail going to Labelle.
  7. Lac Simon??? is that the Lac Simon in Chenneville?

  9. That would be at the top right of the page where you log in and sign out, to the left of your profile is a picture of a little bon homme, when your cursor hovers over it, it reads "Notifications". When you have a new PM the color of it will turn red. JG
  10. I got a question for Rob. In the list of topics in the General Discussion board some have a star and a dot to the left of the title of the topic, also some are highlghted and some are not, could you define this for me. Aswell, at what point does a topic get the amber highlghted box with hot written in it attached to the topic? Thanks JG

  16. Only 3 rides this year  , 5000klms. Heh Jean-Guy is that a Summit sport 600 w/146" you're on? 2010 or 2011?
  17. From my past experience with an engine blowing repeatatively, my advise to you Don, once you have the engine assembled perform a leak test. This test will ensure it is properly sealed and will eliminate the risk of leaning out. Good luck JG
  18. Very nice in the summer, the C.P. Tour look out over the Baskatong is exceptional aswell. Did you know you could slide down those wateralls in the summer.
  19. I haven't been around the province much interms of atving, i have been riding atv since 2001 and bought my first trail pass only last year, i mostly rode forest roads and every other path that i could find. Most of my atving has been done in the Mt.Laurier Baskatong area and all the outfitters between there and Parent. This year i plan to visit Lake Taurau area (St.Michel des Saints) and tour the trails and forest roads over there. The atv clubs in Quebec are getting more connected every year, since i started you were pretty much limited to your club and had to either bushwack or trailer to another, that's why i never bought a pass, not the same today. There is a member here on QR that does alot of atving in Quebec and he would be your man for detailed information about the provinces trail network, his name is Goose. He was very helpful with me in the past. Not sure about side x side rentals but seeing they are very popular in the trails now it might be available to rent. There is a Doo dealer in St.Michel des Saints that rents atvs, try them out. I here atving around Lake Taurau is a real treat. LOC. 20. I agree, made it myself and boy does it make a difference!! And to boot...these jerry cans cost only a few bucks and can be bought anywhere should one get lost or stolen. The Ski-Doo spare fuel containers are selling for a buck and a half, hate to loose one of those at that price but with Doos doing 140+ miles what on earth would you need to carry spare fuel for?
  21. Anyone know what happened to the other Team Maine #22? they were leapfrogging 1st and 2nd place through all the checkpoints and scratched on the last two.
  22. That sure would be nice to try some day. We will be atving around the Baskatong reservoir(mtn Devils ,waterfalls) area, Parent, Clova may even head up to Barrage Gouin pending on time.
