Do they sell gas?

I was by La Cache a couple weekends ago and it appeared to be closed. There were ropes across the driveway and no signs of life. Has anyone heard any thing? I know it has been for sale for almost two years. No gas there would virtually close the 595.

Great pictures, maybe I will get some like those in a few weeks when we do Mt Richardson! I will bring a VTT as well, so we can tour.

Just thought I would add a few pictures I took while on the snow shoe trek with Groomer. I had a great time as usual. Neither of us went into cardiac arrest, which we felt was a real possibility when we started out. I would like to thank Jean Guy again for inviting me to see some more beautiful back country of the Gaspesie that he is lucky enough to call home.

Some great pictures Groomer, after looking at the first few I thought maybe you had gone snow shoeing alone. It was a perfect day weatherwise, and a great time. I will post a couple of my pictures when I get back to town, I am away working for a few days. I stopped in PALC on the way back, there was beer on sale, the car was hanging low when I left!!

Happy Belated Birthday Jean Guy!! Should the sun gods shine on us next weekend we will snowshoe up Mount Hogs Back and drink to your old age when we get to the top. We will drink to your old age even if we don't make it to the top!!

Very sad. My condolences to family and friends as well. I believe there was another accident/fatality at that event a couple years ago. The organizers really have to get a grip on safety or they will loose this for a fund raising event.

Looks like Groomer is into the wine again

started my truck ,went up the hill for the clubhouse.strange noise !!stopped ,took a look ,flat tire and no air compressor .went back inside the clubhouse and the waitress offered me to bring me home. send me a pm at least one day in advance ,just in case,if you decide to come. So you need a day advance notice?? Have you moved the waitress right into the house??

Owe you a bottle of wine??? You can't stay on the trail sober!!! This is twice you have shown pictures where you have been of in the rubarb!! Next month we will drink some wine when I come up to go snowshoeing! I will be up the weekend of March 19th if there is still snow, I am going snowmobiling in Newfoundland this weekend.
