I've been watching this thread closely, as I planned to cross on the ferry at Tadousac in 10 days. Can anyone confirm if trail 3 is indeed closed near the ferry? If it is I will reroute up 83. Anyone know the name of the club in that area?
Apparently the problem has been settled in St-Simeon according to this article and there is a topic on the French forum.
Drop this into your translate app. https://www.lecharlevoisien.com/2019/01/07/les-motoneigistes-pourront-faire-la-boucle-mais-sans-passer-par-saint-simeon/
in the meantime you can keep an eye on this http://www.motoneigefjordetcharlevoix.com/condition-des-pistes
who said life is easy for snowmobile clubs in Québec.

Yup, that’s the one. I was over it about a month before it got washed away and haven’t been back since. Anyone got a pic of the new one ?
They built an ice bridge last year to cross trenche river.......samething this winter. Latuque SC is grooming relais 22 to Trenche river and Club Passe-Partout is grooming Roberval to Trenche river.

Hi MidRange,
There is also a section of 93 between St Ambroise and St Honore that is closed. It is between trail 367 and 134. I don't know if it is temporary because of swamps or permanent due to permission. That re-route is quite a bit longer.
Jack & Sandi
thanks for the heads up Jack...we will be fine. Leaving La saguenéenne we will take TQ 93 in St-Ambroise then head westward.

Senneterre SC posted on facebook this morning...They will open faillon towards clova after the holidays due to a bridge issue. I, sometimes, wonder if the grooming delay feature is a reliable thing. Lots of newsfeed on fb from several club and that help a lot.
"Nous allons ouvrir le sentier Faillon vers Clova après les fêtes car nous avons un pont que le ministère a fermé aussitôt qu'il est refais on ouvre le sentier on vous tiens au courant."

Cayamant to black rollway is business as usual. You are probably referring to trail 308 between jim's lake and lac cayamant area. You are right. It is shown in red on viaexplora and no trail on imotoneige.
It will finally be open this year. Please get in touch with the clubs who maintain this trail which are les ours blancs and pingouins snowmobile club for gas availability.

Last time they posted on their fb page was october 29th. They were starting to take reservations 819-435-2133. Owners would be on site starting december 17th 2018.

You can order the paper maps from the 13 regions over here.. You need to browse thru their own website. I order them every year from their respective touristic association. Put your pointer over explore Quebec and see the drop down menu.

Who has Volunteer Operators in Quebec? Which Clubs? Far as I know they are all paying jobs with the Clubs, not like in the states where yes, most are all volunteer operators.
Correct. We are not in the 70's, 80's or 90's anymore even though the fcmq still seems to be sometimes. Finding operators is one thing. Finding some who wants to groom on a saturday night even if they are getting paid is another thing. Who said running a snowmobile club is easy.

was this not the second time it burned ?
yes........the old Joncas burned as well. I have great memories of the old version of Joncas back in the early 90's. The old one had a look of a logger camp (which it was) with all the rooms upstairs.
