I got a chance to try a Sidewinder 2 weeks ago for about 60 k 😎 Oh boy! 
 

We are presently open , groomers are out, please be careful as a lot of ditches need to be filled
Ride as if it was the beginning of the season

yaa...like that kind of machine....use it wisely and you ll land in places you never been !!!
on my way back ...mostly downhill on the trail for the lake...woo hoo ...in fresh snow all the time ...lots of fun !!!
better go to bed...im going to be late again !!!

from what i know ...and i believe that ...early season,start grooming very wide...why ??? because if you lose the edge of the trail during the season...drifts ..etc....naturally ,you ll narrow your trail because you ll be scared to fall in the ditch or deep snow...so , if machine lean too much on the same side ...good luck ..make sure you have a good shovel and lots of friends !!! samething with your 4 x 4 truck...throw it in the ditch...try to come back on the road !!!
i read or heard about a club that hit a stump with one track....20-25 00.00 $$ damage
and a few stories on french about transmission !!!
so, tomorrow ,i win at the lottery ..i ll buy 2 tracks !!!
and personally i feel safer with 2 tracks....don  t forget ..you re alone when grooming ...your friends are not always close by...
about 2 miles after we met ... you saw the drifts with the stand on the right and clear cut....better be careful with 4 tracks not to go too far on the right...or even both side....plouck !!! kapuut !!!
buying a groomer depend what kind of terrain you have...big hills...big drifts etc...

honestly ....no !!! first time i see that one !!!...great shot btw !!! all photogenic except that one eating branches ...looks like he  is nt much interested !!
most of the deer i see....at the exit for the auberge or the long hill east of the bridge behind church....there s few behind gas station !!!
saw my first '' tourist '' around 9 am....about 3 miles east of 90' corner and roughly 1 mile before hill with antler !!!
lost about 45 mins waiting for him to move...stopped motor and waited....with door open to take pics...about half an hr later...getting cold..started motor again...moose was waiting...came closer...then i guess he smell (?) something ...then he made a u-turn and went east...started grooming very slowly ....i knew i had work to do in the drifts...just good for him to go ahead of me !!!

rock'n roll last week and weekend!!! woke up late this morning  ..... 3 30 am instead 1 30 am !!!beside drifts ....trail was still a-1 !!!
took my second ride yesterday since 2 years !!! pucké a matin !!! ahahha
great day  for riding ...
on my way back ...met 2 friends from buffalo ...while talking to them ......2 more sleds coming.....ns predator from ns ...stopped by  to say hello ...btw ...found a glove by the green school bus in ste marguerite.....only 4 sleds after you !!!

It was great to meet you in person. You have always been so helpful to us on the internet.
We rode back and forth on TQ5 to study where all the beautiful pictures are taken. TQ5 was in very nice condition yesterday. We saw plenty of evidence team Iceman has visited your trails.
Thanks again for all you do for us snowmobiles.

Haha...I think there is a picture somewhere of when I tried to give him a hug at the Clubhouse the first time I met him (Jean-guy is able to remember the date) but years ago now....its not easy! I will try again this time, he says I am bossy...so I will try that.

In this envelope i will be saving $$ for a trip next yr to that area . You may have to pick me up on the Trans Canada ....right where the 401/20 join at the Timmies lol in Riviere Beaudette . Very nice, the two Olympic's in the opening shot grabbed my attention. My first sled was very much like them, 1964 14 hp.👍🏻
