That is where my cousin rolled his sled back to back year after missing the intersection. Almost ran over a dog on that same section of trail a few years back.

The very first place I ever stayed was Club Odanak back in 98. We actually became very friendly with the owners right up until the son lost his life. The place was so packed that they put us up in workers quaters to stay the night. Had to eat at the bar because the dinning room was packed full. Went back last year after not visiting in a few and we were solo there. We had a great visit but sad to see what it has become. Hopefully they will turn things around.

Great Report Rick - I believe we saw your truck at the Gov. in Shawinigan. We just did a quick 3 day trip. -
A bunch of us are headed up this Thursday night to the area and was just looking for some trial condition feed back? We are planning on heading toward La Tuque then down 73 toward St. Raymond. Any information would be great. Thanks, Bob

The miles are going in the wrong direction for me. Used to do almost 4K a year but ever since the little ones only get in around 2K. I guess I would be happy with with 2K this year. If I added it up I bet I have more hours in the groomer then on my sled the last 3 years.

I think that truck is parked at Norwedge Walk (sp) or something like that.

Can't go wrong with Choko if riding in Quebec. Bought my first set (cloves, jacket, bibs) back in 2000 and have never looked back. It is so warm I can't wear it when I ride around home unless it is below 15°. Have any trips planned yet? I have two so far, guy trip and one with my wife. I can't wait.

That was my guess also. Stopped there to warm up last winter man it was cold that day. Not as cold as the day after though -21° when we left Roberval at around 10am. BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I have never been to this area and I am looking for trail conditions and recommendations? We will be up early Friday March 6th. Any trails to stay away from or trails that are must do trails? Any local sites to see by sled? Thanks, Bob

Headed back up in March just not as far north as the Mt. Valins. Go you will not be disappointed.
