Sounds you are in for a great trip JG :good:

even with some... :diablo: keep it safe.. take care

Alain

That doesn't sound encouraging, we will be through there tomorrow .

Hope the groomers fix it, we are at Le cabannon. Trails rough the whole way from shawinigan till we passed a groomer 10 miles from cabanon . Never been to cabanon before, don't know what people see in this place except for large crowds! Can't wait to leave this area!

You just hit the bad mix: New snow+warm night+warm day+ weekend traffic=....bumps!!!

hope your trip goes right and you hit better trails conditions...

Alain

Well today was good and horrible! Left rabAska , nice all the way to the Classic.

The 63 from there to Domain is terrible!!!! We expected the worst and hoped the groomer made a pass. It's parked at the classic, they said there waiting for it to get colder! That could be next winter! From domain we passed the groomer by la verande we knew we where catching up to it. After that good and bad to lake trout. 240 for the day. Off to Amos tomorrow . Met another quebecrider at the Classic goes by the name Kel, they where on there way to Val Dor.

We're at Rabaska for lunch stayed at the school house in Clova last night, rooms were full at the Tamarac but that didn't stop us from going over to introduce ourselves and saying hello. Real nice people Carol and Alain, wish I could've tried her homemade cooking.

What's a Wally pipp?

Jack,

Wally Pipp was a 1st baseman for the New York Yankees in 1939. He decided to sit out a game due to a mild headache...........as a result a rookie named Lou Gehrig got the opportunity to start. 2,130 consecutive games later Gehrig missed his first game while Pipp never had an opportunity to play again.

Phil- You could be sitting home for quite a while! You may have had your last trip with the boys...............LOL

You have the year wrong BJ, it was 1923 that Gehrig took over for Pipp. He played til 1939.

Not too much in LSQ for sleeping arrangements, if you're in early enough and going in Senneterre direction bomb down, straight fast trail around an hour and a half to get there and better places to stay than LSQ. Oh ya really nice fast trail coming out of Matagami down to LSQ but when you get to the relais on the trail it's all over, be careful of the hills going down guys.

I'll post more on my trip later, no Internet in Clova where we were and last night late night with the NY boys, they're going back to reality today.

Team USA and team Canada

1700 Kim's for the trip.
